@@StevenEvens7125 This is strictly my opinion on why her engagement with Earl fell off. Joy has been adamant and consistent that she doesn’t want children. I think for many men, where there’s not even a compromise of “bear me just one child and then we can stop”, I think that’s a deal breaker.

Because he asked her a question about it and she is a public figure. Women experience domestic violence all the time and are scared to share their story because of many reasons: shame, embarrassment, stigma of leaving and going through a divorce. If Joy sheds light on her experience maybe it will encourage other women to come forward and leave their situation and seek help before it is too late.
