It varies for each client since everyone is different. We highly recommend talking to your PCP or one of our providers before cycling off peptides after 10-12 weeks
Hi Joy. I’m on capsules, rapid release BPC 157, 500mcg per day. I started yesterday. This is my second day on it. It’s so strange. Don’t know what to make of it, really. I feel very relaxed, almost like a sedative at first. Later on in the evening, it’s very calming and my mood feels good. I am guessing this has to do with the gaba as well as the effects on seratonin? I know BPC is meant for a lot of things, and I’m taking it to help with low back pain and tendonitis. But I did feel compelled to tell you about the calming. It seems like not too many people report this. Maybe I am a hyper responder. Any thoughts?
That’s great to hear! You’re right, it’s not often talked about it’s effect on Mood, but scientific research shows that BPC157 and antidepressants work in similar ways/ in similar pathways in the body, so this makes sense! @@joywellnesspartners thanks! It’s actually very powerful for me for some reason. You don’t hear people talking about feeling calm as much as you hear about the inflammation. I am also taking powdered Kratom a few times per day to help with my lumbar spine pain for several years now which replaced all opioid pain pills. The Kratom has been life changing for me, but it can be habit forming, targeting the opioid receptors, so I have been tapering it down a lot. So I am mindful of this and try not to take the BPC at the same time. Also, the BPC can probably soon hopefully replace most of the Kratom if it helps with the seratonin and dopamine, and helps with analgesic effects. Hoping!!
Thoughts on sermorelin? I was just prescribed this by my Dr. Second question: my Dr says take 2-3 times per week, while others say take it daily. Which is best?
Usually Sermorelin is a gentle secretagogue of GH, so it gives a small stimulus to your growth hormone, which can be beneficial and natural. It may not be as profound of a feeling as some other growth hormone secretagogues, as the growth hormone secretagogues usually work better in combination. We advise individuals to use it on an empty stomach (or at least only protein in the stomach) five out of seven days, on the days that one is working out and seeking recovery.
with physician oversight and a couple blood tests to determine candidacy, it can be very safe and effective. Here are some of the benefits that individuals may experience: Promotes slow wave sleep, stimulating memory retention Increases protein synthesis thereby promoting growth of muscle (lean muscle mass) Promotes fat loss Supports immune system Improved sex drive Strengthened cardiovascular system Improved quality of sleep and cognitive function Improved energy and endurance Supports bone density Improved skin firmness and moisture retention Expedite recovery time from an injury
Awesome, it is used for stimulating the growth hormone release ... but has been shown in research to be more effective in terms of outcomes when paired with CJC-1295 as a combo shot, if that is a possibility for you to ask your prescriber to obtain for you in the future. Ask your prescriber to measure the effect with before and after IGF-1 blood testing, and ensure that your IGF-BP3 is being monitored too. Hope that helps!
This is a great question, and because it's patient-specific, we'd love to help answer it further through a complimentary call to discuss this further with one of our providers. Feel free to email us at info@joywellnesspartners.com to set up a call.
Yes, there are some that can be effective on joints and ligaments even in the oral form. Usually the injectable form is more potent, but there is a selection of oral forms that we can help you access from Tailor Made compounding if you are interested.
Since this video, some changes have been made to what is available, and Selank is no longer available to us (in short, due to the definition changes of the FDA). Now the new peptide that is available for anxiety is called Serene. You may email info@joywellnesspartners.com to obtain more information about it!
Thank you for that great catch and correcting the presenter! You're right, the peptides ARE synthetically made using amino acids. Thanks for helping clarify the truth!
