This really was a BATTLE! Two voices against one, and no side prepared to compromise to help the other out. The result was something like two musical waves crashing - lots of splashing and noise, but not much cohesion. The best voice on stage was Simone, especially since she managed to shine when surrounded by such testosterone driven cacophony! Her partner Patrick was at times woefully adrift, just through simply trying way too hard to keep up. But a kind of justice was done in the end, since both acts got through.

the energy was amazing. Newtion clearly has star quality, he played off of Joyful Soundz skills. Both have awesome pipes and clearly loved this song which made it really fun to watch.

To everyone who says this battle wasn't good. Think again , why do you think the 4 "judges" were on their feet ? Dancing and singing along. Of course there were some bad parts on the male side of JSoundz but their spirit , and stage presence was tremendous! Listning to Newtion Matthews sing his parts made me remember the first time I heard "Shout" , he did his part exactly like the Brothers :) I really hope he goes to the finals! #StayUnNewshual

Watching all the battles just now. I was really disappointed till I reached this one. And I'm still not sure if I like it, but it was definitely interesting. I do have to say the battles over at The Voice USA are better, but The Voice UK has.... idk, something that just makes you like it. It has "the thing."
