They took that song off Spotify like a month ago. I have no idea why. It doesn’t show up anywhere on music streaming platforms, on Joyner’s RU-vid channel except for the whole album playlist. It only shows up on lyrics videos and reactions people made when the song was still available. It caught me by surprise

@Sync0R ADHD didn't have bad songs but the way it was released so late given most of the music videos for it were already released ruined its hype. For that, and also that it finally features Elijah James, another underrated artist currently signed with Joyner Lucas, Evolution gets my pick as Joyner's best album.

He said in a remix i think, that adhd was a social experiment. I loved adhd but it didn't hit me as hard as evolution, evolution also hit me hella personally so it's my favorite. Joyner is always gonna stay in my top 3 favorite artists

adhd was very sub par imo this is a decent album so HUGE improvement on his end we can applaud him for that

Tbh the ideia behind each album is way different , ADHD was an album joyner made to show that he could also go more of the commercial route , from the beggining of his career till now joyner always try to convey his skills in his albums , he had albums with more storytelling like 508 album , he had the remixes to show that he can also spit no problem and do a better job then the original track owners and also spit fast , ADHD as he said was a social experiment , showing he can do mainstream music without being corny or losing too much quality as a rapper , Evolution is him showing he has indeed grew up and evolved from the joyner that started all those years ago , it has a more serious tone , talking about his change of ideals in a lot of subjects. All in all , he basically has made music for every mood we can have , you can hear joyner while sad , happy , confident , flirty etc.

Who's to say he wasn't working on both this and ADHD simultaneously which is why he took so long to release it. As he said "ADHD is a social experiment, who pay attention the most when they're hearing it"...a lot of people didn't. Regardless this was probably his re-up Album for those who didn't get ADHD or understand it so weren't rocking with it as much. Both albums are masterful pcs of art and he knows it. Like Logic alluded to, most people only care if your latest music is whack or it's hot, but don't give a shit if it came from the heart. Part of the reason why he retired.

@@uchihadeity1158 You right, of course, but I feel like ADHD lacked a lot of the heart and soul that this album is practically dripping with. Almost like he promised an album with a commercial drive but then lacked the emotion to pour it out, and had to work a lot harder to make it solid rather than really feeling each track and having the album take shape organically. I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like on the outside. The album is still a masterpiece, either way. But this feels more authentic. Kinda like how G-Eazy made Endless Summer right after releasing a major album that was super weak and didn't really feel like it had a lot of his soul in it.
