The DMX verse was taken from an unreleased Gospel album called "Walk with me now and You'll fly with me later". One part is from an unreleased song called "Let Me Be Your Angel ft. Janyce". Also some borrowed words from the song "Didn't Go Nowhere ft. Janyce". Both recorded around 2008 if I remember correctly. In case anyone is wondering. Great to see these finally being used somewhere official. Love Joyners work!

I remember when I bought D's first album the day it came out and I remember first hearing him on L.L.'s 4321 & with Jay-O Felony on Whatcha Gonna Do and I remember the day I was coming back to jail from court and had seen Earl Simmons in cuffs right by me. All my memories of Dark Man X are deep; sometimes sorrowful, but always powerful and beautiful pieces of an unforgettable story and chapter in my life. Thank you Joyner & Symba for this one.
