Joyner fell for it. Tory called out his fast flow and Joyner changed it. The whole fact that Joyner did that means Tory got in his head with that one.

Not to mention this was a bad beat selection for a diss song, beat is too tropical/dancey for some shit thats supposed to be hard hitting

Cuz Tory violated Joyner on "Litty Again", I feel like Joyner felt he had to come back with something but it didn't land. It was flat and boring and all he did was use the same diss points Tory used back on him. You're dad doesn't like you, you can't get from behind Drakes shadow as Tory was saying Joyner has done collabs that should have gotten him more attention. He ran out of amo. He should have taken the opportunity to release a real song that could get some commercial play and put some jabs to Tory in it and it would have worked out in his benefit.

Basically , a rapper named “VI Seconds” wrote a hard track called “3am” Tory took his beat and his flow and used on a song called “hate to say” on his “memories don’t die” record , VI seconds dissed him for it to , hard diss called “Fargo” y’all should react to it

I think joyner is trying to show that he doesnt need to go hard for a second time after the litty freestyle (to show that he already won easily). So he just went with something laid back... im a joyner fan but yeah i agree with your points.

Joyner is responding for response sake but doesn't want the beef to actually be a beef or escalate. THAT SAID, Tory killed that round 2 so hard that I don't think Joyner really could have beat him without repeating stuff he said in round 1. I do hope however that Joyner takes the criticism from Tory's response and evolves as a rapper cause clearly Joyner cares about the craft unlike most of his peers.

I’ve recently become a big fan and like myself I can see you really appreciate good lyricism. You should listen to “Dave” in particular “2 birds no stones” so many slick lyrics and incredible truths and he was only 18 when he made the song, don’t let that sway your judgment! I’m sure you guys would like it! Hope you see this when you’re reading the comments.

First and foremost, thank you for this really honest review of this song. I've seen tons of other reaction videos, and they just seem to react so wildly and irrationally just so they can get views of it. This was poignant, analytical and logical. Joyner wasn't really saying much and he already mentioned Tory's "identity crisis" (even though he has ghostwritten a few songs for many artists long before he came up), his hair growth replacement (which he basically said it in a few interviews) and his harsh upbringing (litter everywhere throughout his tracks) in the previous diss joint. At the end of the day, this is a friendly competition between two great lyricists. Joyner could've digged up more about Tory's past to use as ammo in this battle, and if he did, that would've just been weird because he would've had to stoop pretty low if he took that personally. Tory really is just solidifying the fact that he can rap. He blew up from his R&B joint, but he is a rapper first.

I appreciate this channel. I want to give people persepctive about this battle because I dont think a lot of fans listening to this are too familiar with rap battles. Joyner Lucas has developed a solid handle over his craft when it comes to delivery. Props. But thats about all i can give him from what i have heard in this exchange so far. In *battles*, punchlines are King. Its not about simply saying something to slight somebody, but *how* you set up each line to create an impact to damage the other EMCEE. Joyner's punchline structure is weak. This goes for both tracks and i called that early. He couldn't step on stange against a battle rapper with these bars without being laughed off stage. He has to get a little more clever than this. You either come for Tory's entire life or dont come at all. He fell flat on Zeze.

"Throne" or "Can You Feel My Heart" by Bring me the Horizon would be a great reaction video by you guys. They're a metalcore band with one of the best metalcore vocalists and lyricism these days.

I haven't seen any other RU-vidrs cover the topic.How about a video on cross genre covers or remakes, for example the song Black Betty. In 2004 the band Spiderbait did a cover of Ram Jam's 1977 version of the hit. Ram Jam's version was a cover of blues singer Lead Belly's 1939 version. Lead Belly's version was also a cover. The song was originally an 18th century military cadence about a solid black musket rifle. I apologise about the long post but it's cool how music can come full circle like that.
