The Joyo stuff is really good. I have two of the amp heads and love the compactness and price! I have a few of their pedals as well and the casing and builds are sturdy. I’ve had one for a few years , jammed and gigged with it and it hasn’t crapped out yet . And if it does, they are so cheap you can replace it without breaking the bank .Their equipment sounds great with you playing it , I always find your phrasing to be tasty and reviews straightforward and to the point.

Two great units from Joyo Jon. I have the original Joyo Bantamp Jackman and this look like a great improvement. Though the original has great tones with a little less functionality. It also takes pedals really well through the front and back. The box looks really handy too. Really interesting Jon - thanks - 😄👍😄
Yes I have the JaCkMan as well and I thinke for it's price it a really good unit, I play it through the joyo 12 cab with the celestion speaker in it and it sounds fantastic, especiaaly wirh a bit of volume it rounds out beautifuly.
I bought the Joyo JackmanII BantAmp Xl a few days ago and pretty good with bluetooth & connects to my Macbook for listening to YouTune or play my guitars with Korg Pandora.
I really dig your vibe man. Great sound. Can't believe that's coming from that Bantamp and Cab box! I probably want the Dual Rect inspired one personally. Thank for the great review!
I just now watched your "Tweedy" demo and just said I'd prefer THIS one! Ha! My tastes keep changing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm now honestly thinking about potentially getting two Bantamps! Haha! The Dual Rect voiced one along side the AC30 voiced one! Pair pair them both "wet/dry" using a Donner ABY (the one with two independent volume knobs), and then attempt to make a budget friendly mini recreation of Dave Grohl's late 90's/early2000's (Color and the Shape) tour rig! Bwaha! That could potentially be a very fun experiment to try and accomplish IMO : ) I love the time you take to fully explain your opinions following the demos. Great content Jon! Much respect!
Hello, I plan to connect the amp into an IR pedal. I know the connections are in the description but while you use the fx send to the Joyo cab, did you had any headphones plugged in the headphone out ? Just wondering about the need of load on the speaker out. JOYO says no with headphone/line out but no mention of using the fx send. Thanks in advance !
Hey Jonathan another great review! I was wondering how did you connect the Bantamp to the Cab Box? Did you use the speaker output or the headphones output?
Jon, I'm looking at getting this exact setup, but as I understand it, any amp head requires a cabinet to be connected to it to prevent the tubes from being burned out. Does the CabBox provide load for the Jackman II to simulate a speaker cab? Reason I ask is that I am looking at connecting this to an audio interface to record. Much appreciated, and keep on rocking!
Connection in video: Guitar - Input (Jackman II) - Effects Send - Cab Box - Input - Out. With just the Bantamp..you can also connect the headphones out which has speaker emulation
Jon, loving the Jackman II thinking about getting the cab box. Can you run the cab box off the send on the Jackman II and into an audio interface without using the headphone jack or speaker out and not damage the amp?
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Jon, so to use it as a preamp, we don't have to connect anything to Bantamp's cabinet output or headphones, right? Only Effects Send? Because for tube amps we need to keep them connected to a cab or loadbox. Great video, btw, thank you so much!
Great sounds! May I ask what’s your connection from Bantamp to cab box? If you are using cab box for recording alone you use effects loop for cab box and not returning the signal as you won’t be plugging real cab to the amp? Or you use some power capture gear for bantamp output and cab box to recording interface? Or you use headphones out?
I just got the Jackman II a few days ago and have been playing it through a Crate 80W speaker cab. It sounds great and is INSANELY loud. You can gig with these puppies, no worries.
Great video. I'm looking at getting one of these, but just need to figure out where it connects. I want to put into the send/return of the Vampire II then out to my audio interface. I'm not sure whether it should go after effects pedals or before in the loop. Guitar - Vampire II - Send - Cab Box then pedals or other way - out to interface. Any help would be great, thanks :)
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Thank you. I have a Joyo Preamp House pedal coming as well, so I can just use my pedalboard directly into the DAW now. Plus with the Joyo power supply I'll be able to take my pedalboard and guitar wherever I want, plug headphones in and have fun :)
hi jon your video is amazing, i wanted to ask you a question can the jackman be connected to the cab box and then to the interface and then be able to record on my pc? greetings from Argentina
Hi John. How to choose a speaker for the 1W tube amplifier? I have Marshall dsl1hr and 10 "Jensen 35W, but what if I connect a 100W speaker? Will it play quieter? Can you explain that to me? I'd like to try Some other speakers but most of them have higher wattage.
it depends on the speaker output of the amp...In the bantamp's case, it delivers 8-10 ohms...meaning it can drive 2 x 12 & 4 x 12 cabinets. Check the amp's manual or website.✌♥
@@JonIsJustTooLoud I can use only one 16ohm speaker, but there's nothing about speaker max. wattage🤔. Will try to ask strait to Marshall. Have a nice one.
Sounds good but it's not for me, only because I already have options for doing this. If I was looking for a budget solution I would definitely look into that.
