Joyo JF10 Dyna Compressor Demo/Review

Awesome video, amazing tones. Do you think i can get a fuller sound if i go with compressor into a Blues driver (into a non-tube amp)? Or to buy a TS for that purpose? Cheers, mate.

I want to play the begining of Foxy Lady and have it sustain and start feeding back without turning the distortion or the amp up to ten and blasting the rest of the song too loudly and crunchy. Or play the lead to Californication cleanly without the notes dying out on me. Looks like I found the right pedal that I can afford. Thank you! I'll try it.

hey Chris, top review. Concise, covers all the bases. Heard that these compressors kick the ars* of boss amongst others. you mention at 10.42 it gives a thickness, does it alter the "warmth" and/or "creaminess" of your tone (nice playing mate!). How about the noise of the compressor? Noise compressor pedal needed? I am planning on using this as a solo pedal going into a Vox AD15VT (nice amp, not with a loop alas), with a musicman axis with PRS custom humbuckers, which whilst nice are a bit bright.

I can hear the difference. But maybe because I use a compressor at home and kind of know what to look out for now lol. Personally, I wouldn't pay much more than £25 for a compressor because its effect is so subtle so this pedal isn't a waste of money in my opinion. I think some people are disappointed because they're expecting a massive bargain that the other Joyo pedals like the Ultimate Drive, Sweet Baby etc give them.

Chris, Great Review and Playing. I've used the JF-10 for years and Have Loved the Subtlety that it provides. I've recently been jonesing for a cali76 $300 t0 $400 Have you played through one and if so how do you compare the JF to it. thanks again.

I have this pedal. It doesn't really compress for me....it's more like a booster pedal. Definitely doesn't compress

Hi Chris, I would like to know in your opinion where should I put my Joyo JF-10 Compressor in my pedal chain. I'm new to the individual pedal system. I bought this pedal and it so frustrating the sustain and attack does not work. And so i return it to the seller.

i think your camera might have agc which is a compressor-ish auto gain control, so your dry signal in the video is actually slightly compressed. i have the pedal and it compresses nicely for chicken picking. good video :)

It would be very helpful if you ahd shown us the settings you were using on the compressor. As it is we have no idea and so this video aside from us hearing what the compressor does, has not been very informative.

I gave mine back. As in all demo on youtube this pedal does not compress . Compared to any other compressor, this one does not work... At least those that I tried!

Hi If you use the compressor in the last section of your effects chain then anything before it like distortion/delay/phase/flange would also have it's signal boosted/compressed. Try it and see what happens? 👍
