Lovely to see Moses at Talasbuan again and great that you have family and friends so willing to come to help when times get rough. Hope you all feel better soon and you get some rest and time to relax. xxx
All of you have to be the strongest, healthiest people I’ve ever seen. From the little kids to grandma and grandpa. No need for a gym membership for you at Christmas. This is what our bodies were created to do.
Yes that's because of all the protein they get. Plus the nutrition from the vegetables and berries. Smart people listen to their bodies. Their bodies tell them how much to eat. You activity level just like mine needs yo increase
When i switched to an ancestral diet i also looked so much healthier. Im overweight but when i do work like this i get really fit... Far above average.
I always admire your authenticity and how you also show the hard times and don't always try to put on a brave face: Take care and try and get some rest. You deserve it.XX
Loved Dolly’s expression when you asked her to “eat sparingly!” Wonderful to see you all with family. A gathering time is important, especially for young Ivar; not to mention a much needed get-away before the heavy snow set in. As much we all love the first snow fall, it is a lot of work when it comes to getting the farm work done. Ivar is such delight! It seems he gets such a kick out of the most simplest of joys in life. Mose is so good with him. Thanks for sharing another energy packed vlog! ❤
I am so sorry to hear that you were sick and had to come home to all of that snow. I do hope that people out there who can afford to support you do so. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless and keep you safe.
Thank you so much dear friends for sharing this beautiful video, although I know how tired you are after this crazy months. You guys are amazingly resilient. I send the three of you loving high vibes for recovery and hopefully some well deserved rest. 🙂💙💙💙
You have such a lovely family. I hope you find time to rest and relax a little during the darkest time of the year so that you will be happy and healthy. Take care! ❤
You've been managing a lot as you said in your video and not under the best circumstances. Everything needing your attention at once and doing it all while you were sick. Life goes this way sometimes. It can be very discouraging but as tired as you are you seem to be coping well. I always admire your strength and perseverance. I hope all goes well moving forward and you have a good December 🙂. Best wishes and Love to you all.❤
The scenery of the winter with the snow is so beautiful and tranquil. I admired your hard work and perseverance of living off grid. God bless your family enrichly.
It is a truly beautiful place in which you live but a harsh environment for Winter. Hearing Ivar laughing while sledding was simply the best part of the video! May you have a joyful Christmas and may God bless you and watch over you. ❤❤
Thank you for your honestly and authenticity. Life isn’t always easy, especially when dealing with illness, unexpected chores and stress. But your life is beautiful and you are hard workers. Try to reduce the chores you do to a minimum for some time to regain your strength. We too always get sick when life is stressful. It is the budy‘s way of saying no, to reclaim the rest it needs. ❤
Your family is so wonderful … you’ve done a great job ! I am enjoying your channel. I just found it last night and I can’t put it down. The love and patience with your handsome son is amazing. Thank you for sharing ♥️
My goodness, what a rough patch you have been through! Your strength and resilience comes in handy at times like this, but sometimes it’s just too much.. I’m glad to hear your vision for the Christmas season is to enjoy it more, and remember the “reason for the season”. Ivar is growing into such a fine lad! Much love this holiday from your friends in Southern Oregon!❤️🎄
Wonderful video, great work on butchering the steers. Wellness prayers for you all. So very busy in your homesteading jobs. I am so excited just thinking of your house being finished... it's coming along beautifully. You are doing amazing 💜⭐🙏🏽
From Berkeley California thank you! I've been a member of your tribe for several years now but finally comment for the first time. I appreciate very much your thoughtful reflections, am recalling memories of times when I've had big struggles (I'm 66 now), and images come back , clear and sweet, of family and friends who supported me in the way you support each other. Mose's video of his visit with you is BRILLIANT. I love his channel! The troubled musings of you two RU-vidrs about how you can deprogram yourselves from RU-vid/ social media are hilarious and heartfelt. I too am in this quandary, at once addicted to and nourished by and so deeply enriched by videos like these you share.
When I watch your videos, I see a HEALTHY, beautiful family. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and your family gets/stays well. Ivar is growing so fast! How fortunate for him to grow so organically. Rest. Dream! Plan. ❤ Blessings from Los Angeles, CA.
And it was a great video too. Thanks for sharing your life with us. And also, good to see you finally brought out a proper skinning knife when taking the hide off of the steers. Great job!
Hello, I missed the wonderful videos! I'm in love with só much snow, but I don't think its easy. I still plan to go to Europe during the snowy season🥰 Ivar is super smart! Thank you for the wonderful video! 👏😊
Finally! We made it to your most current video! Two months of binging on Talasbuan and we are now up to date! You’ve inspired us with your joyful attitude towards snow, Filmjölk, and a new appreciation for “meat”! We are enjoying the visual journey with you❤️
Take a little time for each other every day. That's all you can do. A young family is great rewards but takes lots of time. You are brave and inspiring. Thank you. Best of luck now.
I live in Finland in Rovaniemi but there is much more snow than here. It is lot of work about the snow. I understand now how busy you have had. I like so much your videos and see your life. It´s december and hope you can rest and enjoy a little before the Christmas. 🎄🎄
Beautiful drone shots and watching the snow in the hight of summer here in the UK has cooled me down a lot. What a lot of snow you had, wow. Have a lovely day.
Hello from Montenegro. I adore watching this chanel: your family, the way of living, this beautiful snow and nature. You are lucky people to live this way. Best regards for all of you. ✨✨✨
Our weather in my part of Alaska seems to mirror yours. Our first snowfall came early November also. It has warmed up this past week, and it has melted some, but now it is icey. Take time to rest, it's hard to do when there seems to be so much to do. As always it's such a treat when your video comes out, thank you for sharing.
You both are so amazing. Now is a time of reflection and planning for the future and also a time to find quiet rest and regeneration. When we are not feeling well we feel at times unable to cope with all of life's many challenges, but you have always found a way to live your life on your own terms. Keep on keeping on....spring always follows the winter. and hard times are followed by renewal. I'll be looking forward to your new videos in 2024....Good Luck and Happy New Year. (char)
Christmas is going to be wonderful for your family! there will be will be many blessings in the new year! it's so good to see you all posting videos again, much love and happy holidays! from Memphis, Tennessee in the United States
Dear Ones, many thanks for your videos! They are so beautiful! And I am truly sorry to hear you had such challenges. If it is of any consolation: it seems a common thing right now. Everyone did have loads of challenges over the last few months. Much Love and Many Blessings to you!
Greetings from sunny Spain!! Despite being Spanish, I feel very close to Swedish culture (I'm even trying to learn the language, very nice but very difficult!!! hahaha) I really believe that my soul is more Scandinavian than Latin. It is wonderful to see how you overcome everyday life in an environment as beautiful as it is challenging, always faithful to your principles, and to see that the only thing a child needs to be truly happy is the love of his family and a natural, healthy environment. my congratulations for the channel and your courage in choosing that lifestyle
Hi! I looked forward to watching a new video. The last one was posted a month ago and I was afraid of a illness of one of you. Finally you are here and thanks for your video. Follow so.
Life is a struggle. I look at Nature and how hard wild creatures work every day just for food, water and shelter. Humans are no different but many have lost touch with being self reliant. You are an inspiration. I hope you get some much needed rest and time for reflection. Love to all of you.❤
Greetings from the beautiful and vibrant city of Singapore! I hope this message finds you doing well. I wanted to express my excitement for the videos you've been creating. Your content has been so enjoyable to watch, and I am eagerly looking forward to seeing more of it in the future. Please keep up the fantastic work - your hard work and dedication are paying off! Cheers to 2024. Have a fantastic year ahead. Cheers !
Really like your videos you guys have a beautiful life even when times are hard and things are not so great You still are very blessed Keep making your great videos we love to watch !
I am so sorry the person you bought the tractor from wasn't completely honest. Its a shame that people are evil everywhere. So glad you were able to grow and harvest the steer meat for your family. You are pronouncing steer correctly. Have a wonderful Christmas!
From a Canadian fan. Every great vision or plan takes hard work. You folks are doing the right thing. To succeed and make your dreams come true. A saying I have is, Roman wasn’t built in a day. So take the time to enjoy our achievement’s and build on those successes. Every step you make will contribute to your character and make you better people. Love your video stores. And you both do well with your English translations so don’t beat yourselves up about that.
I was almost shocked to see how much Ivar has grown! In the first few minutes of the video, I thought he was another child! (It's as if I remembered how tall he was last year in the snow). I wish you all a calmer start to December, and a return to good health, especially Tova's dad.
I’m not one to usually comment on RU-vid but I wanted you to know how much I love and appreciate your channel! That said, I would not mind at all if you had advertisements during your video. I’m not talking about you promoting merchandise since I know that is not your vibe. You DESERVE to be paid for all your hard work and your creativity. I would really like to see you and your channel make more income! ❤❤❤
You deserve a break to heal and rest. I have to take a nap after watching you work so hard. Ivar brings joy with his smiles and charm. I hope Tova’s father is feeling better. Please take care of yourselves.
I love your heart-fullness with Family and dreams and hopes! And how, when confronted with the unexpected the real challenges stretch you beyond the beyond.. I must say I could not watch the steers having been slaughtered. And wondered if that young lad of yours.. even tho you raise him as you do, they are living breathing pet creatures I suspect was difficult for him! Anxiety and stress will play its toll!! And with season changes, it tends to make us more vulnerable physically. Re your tractor, a great investment, I don’t think there are bad choices .. we make choices based on many factors . I love that you enjoy such a community of family and friends and neighbours as your need arises. I celebrate you and your way of honouring your hearts desires with all the needs living as you do I’ve watched your videos from the beginning and look forward to them always. Keep on with your good hearts and health!! Happy to support you $. Happy baking on Sunday with ginger bread cookies..
Steer....you've got it! You can remember by matching it to a word that sounds the same such as when you "steer" your car with the "steering" wheel. You both do very well with your English and I love listening to you speak. Is Ivar learning to speak English?
Hello from Sydney, Australia. Your video came up on my channel so this is my first time watching. Your video touched me very much. It is so authentic and real. Your honesty and partnership is so inspiring. Thank you. Aidan 🇦🇺 🇸🇪
I know the exhaustion you are feeling. In retrospect, it's a GOOD exhaustion. It means you have accomplished much and can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Take some time to appreciate how far you've come. You're supplying many more calories for your family, than you used to with rabbits. You have also accomplished a lot, on the house, this year too. Much respect and well wishes.
I hope your family will soon be feeling better. It seems as though everything happens in clusters instead of one thing at a time so that we can handle them better. Sometimes all we can do is take one day at a time.
It is always a joy when I see a new video from you pop up. You are looking very tired so please take good care of each other and stay safe and well. The snow looks so beautiful but I appreciate it is not so easy to live with as to look at. I do hope we get to see you making gingerbread and your Christmas wreaths. I wonder if you’ll have the energy and time to make a Christmas video this year? I’ve loved watching the ones you’ve made in the past so if you need to pass on that this year I may just go back and revisit the old ones. 😊
I just love your family. I dont say much on here but I love your videos and all the hard work you both do. You are truly good people. And your teaching your young boy. I seen him born. Ive been watching long before he was born. I broke my back and was in bed for two years. Your videos kept me going. I was so depressed. That was so long ago now. I didnt think i would ever walk again. Boy if I was young I would be living your way. Your little boy has grown so much and he is the cutest thing. And he loves to help you both. Thats good! God Bless your family. June
I enjoy watching your family and to see your son grow up you are great parents you are very lucky to live in a beautiful country ❤sending love from the USA
Such a great video!! You two are so hard working. I hope your father in law is feeling better. Love watching the scenery. It’s beautiful there !! Keep your videos coming! My father in law is from Finland and I tell him about your videos. He loves it !
You both did very well with that slaughtering , I was a butcher in my younger years,,yes bab it will taist lovely , I just love how calming your personality s are you,
You guys should do an updated q and a video soon! How you both grew up, if that influenced your lifestyle now, plans for the homestead, how Ivar is doing, etc
This is the first time I have spoken to you, even though I have watched your videos since the beginning before Ivar was born. I have been watching people who move from various countries to to Portugal and are settling there so I have it was a real pleasure to turn on RU-vid and see by so grown-up after such a long time hi have no hey little girl in my life called I forget her name I am 81 now so my memory phase me Natalie is her name and she is now a year and a half so I just glowed when I saw Ivar I just love the whole family now that I have found a way of contacting you. I should do it again my name is James Buell folks.
Wonderful and honest, as always. Once again Mathias, great butchering. Team effort, hard work, long days, but well worth it. I sure hope you can get the tractor working well. It will be an asset to your farm.
Thanks for sharing your experiences, good and bad, this is farm life. May you have some time to relax and rest this winter and may the coming weeks bring good health for you and your extended family. Massey Ferguson tractors from that era are quite tough; I am glad that you found one. My dad has a 63 model and it is still going strong, although he has tinkered with it for years to keep it operational.
Hello Family. Thank you for sharing your efforts on this beautiful homestead. It looks to be a severe winter there and everywhere. Please stay well and safe. You are my family, too.
