I have one. I love mine. I use velcro straps on the bows for the door frame poles. Works really well to adjust for tension. Also, on my tent the car attachment works on both doors and I use a tarp for the skirting because I have a dog. Also, water did come in where the handles go through but then traveled down the wall to the ground without any trouble, but I didn't have any flooring just a fake grass "rug" in the middle and I was using a hose to test it not actual rain... "Camped out" for about a week in my backyard with this, trying out bedding and other camping gear, put it away reluctantly, and can't wait to play under it again!
Hey Mike and Heidi! I got rid of our gazebo at the end of the season last year. It was beat up and dirty due to being in the woods and located in a flood zone when it rained. I like the concept of the gazebo but found that roof needs to be vented. The heat was trapped.in roof, which makes it uncomfortable to be in. Therefore our gazebo was mainly a storage shed for our bikes, chairs and grille. BTW we have a seasonal site near the South Jersey shore in the 2608BS.
I don't know about these gazebos. The only thing I know for sure that they are absolutely perfect for was something that we experienced the very first winter we went to Florida. And that is you stay inside the gazebo in the early evening when the no-see-ums and mosquitoes came out and swarms. They were very feasible for that reason. However it does get warm inside those because of that bug mesh they use for screen just restricts air flow. So awesome you've got a great site you're staying at. I'm in my office right now. Looking out windows. It's definitely a big adjustment being stuck inside. Heidi don't have it any better she's stuck at work looking out windows there. Maybe we're fish and we don't realize it. LOL
Question ❓... We have the gazelle ( same as the clam) but it too heavy for me to carry alone. We used it a couple of times and now it sits in our basement not going on camping trips. How does this compare weight wise?
seems like a pretty cool tent but you're right about the apron for the bumper... what if a skunk decides to go under your car? Next thing you know, it'll be inside the tent and the next thing you know you're in the middle of a commotion craze flap free frenzy mixed with rage and uncertainty! I don't even want to think about it.. But it seems like it may be easier to put up than the clam shell for us.. We have a story but it's too long to type... hahaha

I do not have the ability to make request from the third party company except during initial negotiations for review. Even then, the third party company I deal with is hired by the manufacturer to represent them so they have no Leverage to demand a price reduction on their behalf. Check FB Marketplace and EBay for cheaper purchase options..
Not for me, but you mentioned a clam shell gazebo you had. Do you have a name brand you would recommend, just looking for something without the vehicle attachment section.
The vehicle attachment is on a separate zipper, so you don't have to use it. It also attaches to either door... just fyi. I love mine and also got to love the price... lol.
