@@torototoro1252 well compare to the other characters on the mobile game that like the captain, she's not the most romantically driven character. she more into a doting big sister category that wants to be relied upon (mainly by the captain), and i mean REALLY wants to be relied upon. but the game leaves their relationship open enough for the fan to use their imagination on how far things go.

Weird, Gran's translation of 'mou chotto matt(e y)o' which is 'let's wait a bit (for her to wake up)' became "Is she gonna wake up"

They translated the game based on the english dub, that's why it's not accurate for what they say in japanese. Arc sys isn't exactly known for flawless translation, in fact the total opposite

I honestly didn't know it was a thing until I tried going to do the same for Beelzebub. Im in the middle of working on an English version so the cutscenes where she's Player 2 will definitely be in there. I apologize for that!

You can say he's a secondary protector as well, but he/she(Djeeta depending on your player preference ) is also linked to her and share a life force with each other. It isn't a huge spoiler since it's the beginning of the main story of the mobile game, but I'll still avoid spoiling further. Anyway, to expand further, they're just... great friends as this point? Lyria does show a lot of intimacy and obvious love towards the Captain a lot of the time though, mostly out of some jealously. It's still pretty tame in her case though, it's like some primary school romance since she's so innocent. You know how these things go with mobile games, where most the playable characters are basically in love with you

when Gran 1st met Lyria, she been chased by the Empire. While protecting Lyria, Gran died. Lyria link her life force to Gran to bring him back, sort of, and thats when they summon Bahamut to obliterate their enemy. So, they been together since that.

For those wondering why Narmaya's reaction to Gran is different as to other opponents... Narmaya is into little children (especially a shotacon). Teenage boys like Gran is her type. If you search for Narmaya's NSFW resources, chances are it will have a shota tag attached.
