@@harveyscottz I watch standups all the time. Specially western ones. Majority of filipinos does not watch these kind of comedy. Because they are used to watch a more threatrical comedy, I think. Based on my experience, most of my friends does not watch standups. :)

@@stacysmith5148 I’d disagree. Watching through a lot of his sets, he performs at his best with an active crowd. I understand having to deal with all sorts of crowds as a comedian, but if you’re basing “not fun to watch” off this one video, I’d implore you to look into more of his standup work.

Almost all of the Filipinos I had met have Spanish surnames and American first names .It's weird in a good way.

Both countries influenced the Philippines in literature and language, as for the spanish last names, it's more of political because the Filipinos were compelled to change their last names into spanish names as the Spaniards ordered them through law, only 10% were the hispanics (altho the real number is actually 3 times more than what is demographically admitted).

For some who wonders why Filipinos have American names and Spanish last name ,Spanish got lost and landed in the Philippines with Magellan the Portuguese ,that was 1520’s ,Got killed But the Spanish never stop coming after him and stayed for more than 300 yrs ,then American came and kick them out,Then came the Japanese 😅😅
