I just read a story about you that was shared on FB and found the link to this podcast within. I love this song! Definitely everything that I felt and made me cry all over again...but that's OK. My daughter has CF and she'll be 17 this November. October will also be her "2nd birthday" as she had a liver transplant in 2014. She was diagnosed with cirrhosis at 1 1/2 years old, and remained stage 1 until 2013 when she went from stage 1 to stage 4 in a matter of months. Thank you so much for writing this, telling your story, and spreading the word about this devastating disease. Waiting for the day CF stands for Cure Found!

All i can say is WOW 14 years later on from this song and the "cure" is so close but yet so far away Too many are still dying way to young Your words are so real My 10 yr old born 2015 has Cystic Fibrosis.

My daughter also has CF. it's hard to listen to when he sings about hope and being willing to sell his soul. i can relate.

My son has cf - just had his first bday - please help support the cf foundation to find a cure! Great song.

I appreciate this song so much! My daughter is now 22 and amazing! She's the strongest woman I've ever met! She's battled cf since day one and I'm proud to say she's kicking cf's ass! Hopefully it stays that way since her doctors some how some way thought this criminal vax was a good idea for her! I pray that she keeps kicking cf's ass another 50 years and longer! Can't believe I've listened to everlast for many years and just now hearing this song! Well, it's new to me and it's about to get some fresh shares! Thank you sir for your beautiful song!

Cystic fibrosis is a terrible disease and I commend Everlast for writing a beautiful song like this. The 65 roses phrases also inspired me to do a painting based off the disease and what it represents of the disease and the history of how it came up, I titled it "A Dream of Sixty Five Roses".

Hey Joe - came across your song - sorry to hear that your daughter has CF. Good on you for getting the message out there. I don't know if you've heard the song I wrote back in 2001 ? I came to America for a concert in Baltimore, Passedena, when a band invited me to sing at a fundraiser for their bassist that passed away from CF at the age of 24. Keep up the great work.
