Will we ever have the great pleasure of hearing such a faithful performer live? Perhaps here in the churches of Rome? That would be wonderful. Congratulations and always thank you!
Grazie e spero in altri video.❤
Oh my gosh! From the first chords, I knew it was going to be a great ride. Thank you so much; because of performers like you, Bach's organ pieces never tire.
This is the quite recently released Hauptwerk Erfurt Predigerkirche sample set, right? Great organ playing! Btw the Erfurt Predigerkirche is certainly worth a visit. It houses quite a few historic tomb stones, with some fine examples of the 15th and 16th habit of depicting adult female deceased with a covered mouth, which fashion still awaits its conclusive explanation.
Thank you very much for that really great performance of one of my favourite organ pieces by J.S.Bach. How long did you work on that piece until you get it playing in such a great performance?
Thanks ! I took organ lessons for 5 years as a teenager, then there was a 30-years gap until I discovered Hauptwerk. I also have some kind of college degree in musicology and I am a (very bad) jazz pianist.
You can't hear my speakers in the video. The recording is done internally within Hauptwerk, then the wav file is processed with a reverb (Lexicon) and a mastering plugin (Izotope Ozone).
