For those of you wondering. The AT4 is a single shot disposable anti tank weapon. Once the rocket has been shot from the launcher it becomes non functional.
The front cap is taken off, it hasent been fired just the rear cap was taken off, you could re assemble and fire technically but that barrel would be def fucked after
@Not_interestEd- the only reason I can think of reloading one is if you wanna die. They are made to take the stress of one usage(as op already said), after that the risk of blowing up in the at4 goes up exponentially (a lot)
POV: You're born a German in 1991 and later go on to fight America in 1945 and the house your firing from gets blown up by Allied Sherman's and AT4's, M1 Bazookas, and artillery
@@collixionofficial you see we can sort of speak about 1999 by bringing it up, but no way in hell are you to EVER mention 1998. That year needs to be buried.
good fucking luck trying to fire a grenade from a flare gun, that'll shred your wrist as it violently disintegrates, and if you're really unlucky, the actual grenade will get enough spin to arm itself and then the real fun starts
@@acceptablecasualty5319 I think he put flare launcher in quotations in order to make sure it wasn't actually seen as a Flare Launcher. It was actually a grenade launcher all along
You prob could, given it is a shaped charge, made for taking out tanks, so most of the explosion goes in one direction. I mean, you wouldn't have legs anymore, but that's still better than being a red mist right?
Just letting everyone know, the thing he's holding is basically like a bullet casing, it's already been used and can't be used again. And yes, I know bullet casing can be recycled.
It's based on the Carl Gustaf 84mm recoilless rifle system. Which is basically a cannon with a hole at the back and in the shell casing to equalize the pressure on the shooter.
At4 eight like 10 pounds (5 kg) or something unbelievably light and are single use. They have some trouble penetrating tanks, although the idea is you just give it to every platoon if not squad, to protect against any apc or ifv. Probably serves as deterrence to tankers since it can penetrate at certain angles. In more modern wars I know Sweden sent 10,000 like 2 months ago to Ukraine.
@@That_mfDawg That's not what I meant. AT-4s are extremely inaccurate and relatively heavy when loaded, but they're great for dealing with small amounts of armor (when they actually hit what you're aiming for).
One of my best friends who is 15 has an at4, and recently his family bought a flame thrower. Like a Vietnam shooting flames 20 feet flamethrower. His parents own a gun store that’s why
Fun fact: the at4 is an anti-missile- tank-destroyer coming from sweden, and it’s more deadly in the back than in the front… depending on where you stand
