In the dwindling twilight time is unwinding, lines are blurred Under the guise of a child into your nightmare I've been lured Like a puppet, tied and hung up tightly bound Your strings I've been strung to, I dream that I'd run away from you if my feet could feel the ground Now I'm out of the woods, safe and sound as I board up the doors But once I'm in the clear, and free of all fear, I find that I'm hungry for more The hunt has begun, hold onto your hats, if it isn't knives, it's eyes in your back So whether or not you're friendly with rats, pretend you're a mouse in a house full of cats Pale is the prison they doomеd me to dwell With room for just one, but two in a cеll The dusk is upon us, I knew as it fell That darkness is honest, are you to yourself? With my thoughts are distorted and body dysmorphed into monstrous forms of the awfullest sorts We're locked up with dolls and their hollowed out corpses, all haunted by hunger, the omniscient force So often my reveries are littered with the debris of my hopes and dreams As we all grow to be old and bitter, a tale foretold in broken screens How blinding the glare, your mind is so weak I'd like you to share this nightmare with me I hide in my hood, not to show you my eyes I know that I'll fail with no coattail to ride Mannequin paired with marionette In dissonant discord, our deadly duet We're lost in a lullaby, slumbering away Where sins remain hidden, but rarely they stay It was only in my shadow that I'd finally found a friend 'Till the light that bound us let go and the devil took my hand As she closed my eyes, remind me once again What's the dreamer's lie? "Every nightmare has an end" (Beware the dreamer's lie, every nightmare has an end) (Or you'll be where the dreamers lie, some nightmares never end) I sleep like the dead, nonetheless I am lucid If dreams have a meaning, perhaps I should tune in To the signal that beckons, familiar it seems Be silent, you might see yourself in its beams A knife or a noose is with what you'll be met If you try to play nice and stick out your neck I thrive in the shadows, untrusting of light Be warned if you join me, it's just for a bite I'd rather be lost and lonely 'Cause friends aren't meant to last Thought you finally got to know me But you've only met the mask Sad is my dream where the grass is quite green Turned into a pasture of mesmerized sheep I'd count them, but why should I bother In the end they're all meant to be slaughtered It was only in my shadow that I'd finally found a friend 'Till the light that bound us let go and the devil took my hand As she closed my eyes remind me once again What's the dreamer's lie? "Every nightmare has an end" (Beware the dreamer's lie, every nightmare has an end) (Or you'll be where the dreamers lie, some nightmares never end) (Beware the dreamer's lie, every nightmare has an end) (Or you'll be where the dreamers lie, some nightmares never end)
When this song came out let’s just say…. I listened to the thing on repeat and would sing it 24/7 and it would annoy my friends. And one time me and my friend tried to do a duet but he kinda failed and I kinda just took over his part and went all out LMFAO
The original version sounds like the fandom while this version represents the actual undertones and feel of the game; the overall slowed music and deeper notes sound creepy, and the voice can sound monstrous at times, so this definitely does represent these Two to the truth within them and the series as a whole
The original is like how we see the universe of little nightmares where it's like "oh it's so moody and sad in Six and Mono's universe" While the in universe characters are hearing it this way in their minds because they're just suffering and terrified
Everyone's always saying Mono deserved better, and he didn't deserve being dropped, but honestly? Six deserved better then what happened to her. People overlook the fact that Six has done more good than evil then they give her credit for, and everyone just seems to forget all the horrible things Mono has done. Don't get me wrong, I like Mono still, but people tend to put him on a pedestal and treat him as if he's a Saint who can do no wrong despite making horrible decisions that are arguably worse than some of the things Six has done.
Both of them deserved better lives than they got in the loop in fact everyone in this universe is mentally damaged by the signal tower so they probably deserve better too
they all deserved better. every single one of 'em. i just want to take 'em out of their games and give 'em good food, and clothes, and shoes, and all the toys and hugs they could ever want 'cause those babies deserve good childhoods 😭
I feel like people misunderstand six so much :( She didn’t even want to drop mono cause she was hesitant to drop him- her stomach went off as she held him and she most likely thought he would have a better chance being dropped as she would’ve eaten him if she got him up. Also from the trauma of very little nightmares and the feeling of betrayal and sadness from that plays a big part in the ending as it’s the same scenario with all the pressure on six. She got betrayed by both her most trusted friends and them both in the end get dropped/hurt/killed in some way by her. That’s not an easy thing to get over especially if the second time you have the option to let them live even if they get you or they die by your own hands. I feel that some people just overlook the fact six has been through much more than any of them and the fact that she’s a kid.
@Be green Chances are that’s also another reason. Maybe six didn’t want someone who she knew was dangerous to be with her- she became a monster cause of thin man which is probably very traumatic for her
