I heard, from another person about the Aurora menu, that the new patches allows you to go up to a mere 16TBs of HDD/SSD storage (which is nuts to begin with). The reason I'm looking into this is because the XBox 360 store is shutting down on July 29th, 2029. So I've been trying to either buy games from the Xbox store, or just simply get the ISOs of the games itself that hopefully comes with the DLC needed to play on the Xbox 360 RGH consoles and such. So my question is, if I end up using the same HDD as I have (which is the 500GB one that we got), would it accidentally be formatted and re-used by the aurora menu??? Because I don't want to end up formatting my HDD only to loose everything I had on it.

@@tylerdurden6992 Mmmm, I don't think so...In terms of internal, it would just have to fit the 2.5mm port inside the console's slot. And as for the External with the USBs in the front and back, do keep in mind they're 2.0/3.0 USB ports, hence no blue colored ports in both the front and back of the console....Even I plugged in my 3.0 USB A Flash drive device and it would load just as much as my HDD.....Although the speeds should be increased because of SSD, it just depends on whether you want it to be internal or external....

Thanks. FYI everyone the buttons on Xex menu have changed, you have to hit X now to change drives.

Do you need a flash drive at all? Can't you just plug the hard drive into a windows PC and dump the files straight onto it? Also, thanks for the extremely quick but complete guide.

The harddrive will not show up on the computer you will need a FATXplorer

To my knowledge, JTAG and RGH are pretty much the same thing aside from the hardware exploit method, so you'll be good to go using this method to upgrade your hard drive! I have links in the description for the specific parts you'll need, enjoy! 😁👍
