Words can't say how grateful we are for every single view over the years. When Jan and James created this track for Andy, they knew they had something special, but the response has just been mad and continues to be mad. To the artists that got involved with this cover, we thank you, your take on this, no matter how small, just proves what killer players you all are. Ridiculous stuff......he's crazy good. If I had one criticism about the whole thing, it's the kinda generic tones but the playing is top notch from everyone concerned.
Posso dire che in mezzo a tanti talenti, il tuo sound, lo stile, tecnica e mano... A me piacciono di più. Alcuni li trovo un po' esagerati nello stupire con la tecnica, ma il pathos é poco
All players are outstanding. Special credit goes go Max Ostro for changing the pickup selector in between 32nd (or is that 64th?) notes to get the perfect tone at each microsecond.
How can Marco Sfogli have so much tone in his fingers... Like, listen to the first band, with the other notes slightly ringing, and then another band with an impossible pinch harmonic. So simple, yet so difficult, yet so expressive..
I was listening eyes closed... I had to open my eyes after Max Ostro part...to check what on earth happened...wow... Kid is a monster!!! bravo ...all of them anyway!!!
ive been a fan of yours since before guitar idol- when muris, and damjan were in there with you. I've always recognized the undeniable musicianship and excellent playing that you bring. you're awesome.
hahaha Max is very cheeky on the squier and playing like a master, amazing how similar all the different guitars sounded in a couple of places if i'd had eyes shut i wouldn't have picked it. JTC certainly has primo players.
This is beautiful. I bet Vai, Satch & JP watch something like this and smile to themselves knowing that the new breed of guitar hero’s are well equipped to take the instrument forward for generations. Well played all, love all JTC artists!
While everyone understandably drool over Max Ostro, take a moment to appreciate the delicate bends and vibratos from Igor Paspalj. The timings and choice of notes and performance is absolutely exquisite
I was listening this song.. but in some moment my ears captched a spetacular solo! It was Max Ostro! I didn't know that he was playing in this collab.. I returned a lot of times his part.. The guy is a phenomenal guitar player!!!
Respect to all these great players but Max Ostro is a different breed and out ahead of the pack. Keep an eye on him. This kid will be the next generations guitar hero.
All of them are great. But my taste is on Marco Sfogli and Igor Paspalj. Marco -> Smooth, detail & delicate. Igor -> Raw, clear & no holds barred, all-out freight train.
Andy's expression in the last seconds is just amazing. Lari, Oxtro, Nili, Puh, Connor, Igor, Kenny, Wagner, Abassi, Thammarat, Gardiner, Derrico, Sfogli, Claudio, Luca, Maillard, and every guitarist and JTC production team involved in the video, thank you thank you thank you!! I've been away from playing guitar for years. And I think this the time I should embrace love on my guitar like I was in high school. I will play my guitar again. God bless you all.
On couple past days, I was about to give up the guitar. But this video showed up to me on my Facebook feed and I am motivated again. That's the best video I've seen in last 12 months. Thanks for this collab, when I've read names such as Lari Basilio, Claudio Pietronik, Igor... Ive had goosebumps, my heart started beating so fast. Thanks once again
This was written by Jan Cyrka and James Graydon with Andy James' input of course, as well as the improvised section, which is more or less the bit that Igor and Max take on here.
What an absolutely exceptional way to tribute the iconic signature melodic journey by Andy James- each artist contributing their own flavorful measures, honoring the song’s memorable melodies. We love ya, Andy- always knew you were something special!
