You nailed it! When I was listening to this song it reminded of another guitarist that I couldn't think of and it was Marco Sfogli! He is one of the underrated guitarist in the world and has the skill level with the most elite, like Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, and Andy Wood.

The distorted rhythm part sounds awful. Super over compressed, no punch and lifeless. But that being said, the rest is phenomenal!!!!

Ein junges Mädchen bucht solche alten Männer (meine Lieblinge!!) für ihr neues Projekt .... Toll toll toll !!! Lari ich bin ein echter Fan. Mach´weiter so und buche an Deine Seite immer die Besten.... Du hast das dieses Mal wieder gut getroffen für Deinen Stil ! Ich war begeistert, als ich den schnuckeligen Kollegen von Nathan East - Lee Sklar am Bass gesehen habe. Der ist ja auch so süsss und unterstützt musikalisch ganz toll Deinen Stil. Klasse ! Über Vinnie geht sowieso nix ! Deine bezaubernden Melodien berühren mich immer wieder. Toll ! Schade (für Dich) daß man heutzutage keine Platte mehr kaufen muss, sondern hier auf diesem Kanal die Musik in guter Qualität mit BILD - ein sehr viel authentischeres, intensiveres Erlebnis hat.

ALIVE AND LIVING can only be described as a breath of fresh air, There are those that can shred, stretch, bend notes and can run the fret board and they all sound the same. Nothing new! I’ve been following Lari for over a year now and I’m impressed with her continuing ability to surprise me with her understanding of tech usage and her coordination of her very talented hands. Her music structure is unique. My ears are always listening for something new and she’s hitting all the right notes. Looking forward to any new direction she may follow. Keep up

Okay... I have to listen to this song at least 20 times to begin absorbing everything that's been crammed into these four minutes. There's SO much detail and nuance. It sounds like a diamond that's been precisely cut in one thousand faces and then polished to perfection, to shine like the finest jewellery. Lari, it's so cool to witness your evolution... and just by the time your song finishes and I feel like floating in heaven, reality strikes and I am reminded I am in Rio because my neighbor is listening the worst possible carioca funk, as low as it can be. Time to listen this song the 21st time...

Two of the best session musicians in their field. Leland Sklar was Phil Collins bass player for ever and Vinnie Colaiuta has played with everyone from Sting to Jeff Beck to Joe Satriani.

I first saw her on RU-vid a year ago, and was instantly grabbed by her smooth but funky melodic playing, with awesome tone. I got her first album, but in my humble opinion, she has just jumped up a whole level with this new album.. it's one of the best guitar albums I have.. and I have a LOT of guitar albums 😁. It stuns me that it was tracked LIVE over only two days! Two freakin' days! Can't wait to she what she does next. IMO she deserves way more attention and subs. If she keeps putting out awesome music like this, she'll get them.

I agree. She is the first female rock guitarist to REALLY impress and move me. One of my all time favourites now! She is a wonderful player and musician, the new album is just fantastic. I can't get my head around the fact that they recorded the whole thing live over two days! Two days!! It took Satch a year to record The Extremist! I would pay good money to go watch her play.. hope I get the chance some day!

There are a lot of superhuman guitar players out there today, more than there ever have been before, but Lari is one of the very few who can pay superhuman AND sound tasteful and phenomenal with every note. She plays the kind of music that will inspire the next generation to pick up the instrument and innovate, just as I'm sure the guitar gods of the 70s and 80s inspired her. One of my favorite things about her is that she lets her music speak for itself, while most female guitarists really over-emphasize the fact that they're *female* guitarists, Lari doesn't make it a 'thing' because she doesn't need to, she's simply one of the best musicians on the planet who happens to play electric guitar and happens to be a woman. It's not easy today to avoid the trap of shoving your "intersectionality" down the audience's throat, and i salute Lari for completely avoiding that trap. She's a total class act!
