I had basically the same experience with ToD (but I never used boosts to get past it). Ain't no way that isn't more difficult then it says. Personally my least favorite tower I've beat so far.

My opinions Ring 1 - Tower of Madness This was an easy pick. It was obvious that it was rushed because of the spammed gameplay and the last 2 floors. The difficulty is also inconsistent (Floor 5 and Floor 7), but I have to admit, Floor 3 was innovative for its time and is probably the best floor of the tower. Overall, this tower is rushed bullshit which is really odd considering that ToA was pretty well-made. Forgotten Ridge - Steeple of Huge Pain Another easy pick. The jank gameplay is just not fun to do at all, and the fact that this was rushed makes matters worse. Boy, if it weren’t for the safety nets on Floor 4 and 5, all of JToH would be shitting on this steeple right now. Ring 2 - Tower of Overcoming Hatred This would have been ToT if it weren’t for the revamp. Anyway, fuck this tower. I still want a revamp of it. It looks like it was made in 15 minutes. The tower starts out really decent, but it reduced to spam gameplay and healing simulators. I feel like It_Near got really demotivated while making this tower and went, ‘Fuck it, who cares about gameplay.’ Ring 3 - Tower of Despair No long explanation here. It looks like a really awkward buffed Mega Fun Obby course in the form of a tower. The songs are really fucking obnoxious and they do not go well. Ring 4 - Tower of Corrupted Nightmares For fuck’s sake, ToSD was already decent as it was, but nope! Shitty sequel! This is literally ToSD but buffed and made worse. Lots of healing simulators and thin studs! Fun! The music slaps though. Ring 5 - Tower of Rigid Success I still have a personal grudge on this tower due to how shitty and boring it is. There were some creative client object usage which is a plus, but the gameplay itself is a disaster. Oh, and we shouldn’t forget the edgy signs throughout the tower that purposely try to sound condescending. Ring 6 - Tower of A Depressing Future I still believe this is the worst JToH tower. Every floor looks like it was made by a kindergartener with basic client object usage and gameplay. Hell, even a history lecture is much more engaging than this piece of shit. Also, we have Floors 7 and 8 that are fucking unnecessarily outside. Like FOR FUCK’S SAKE, WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT OTHER THAN TO MAKE US SUFFER THROUGH THE SAME BULLSHIT OVER AND OVER AGAIN? Overall, this tower looks perfect for GAT. Ring 7 - Tower of Extreme Hell Ring 7 is cool and all that, and the towers are really great. ToEH just happens to be really inconsistent in difficulty and in enjoyability. You start off with this easy floor with simple gameplay, and then OH SHIT it’s fucking jumps that you would see in an SC, and then a difficulty drop, and then OH FUCK SC GAMEPLAY AGAIN! I believe this is Ludo’s best tower added though. Ring 8 - Tower of Uneasy Scaling The advanced towers of this ring bring the quality down. ToUS is the worst out of the 3. Very long, punishing, and very bad routing which can be bullshit. Also, the fog is hurting my eyes. Ring 9 - Citadel of Lethargy I am not a CoIE simp, no. But this feels like a worse version of CoU and a longer SoHP. The same jank gameplay but more annoying. It’s one of my least favorite citadels in the game. It’s still decent, but really really subpar compared to the other towers in the ring. Zone 1 - Tower of Hands Sweating It’s sort of fun but just really repetitive and spammed. Nothing much to say here except for how the first 3 floors are some sort of a difficulty spike compared to the other floors. Paradise Atoll - Steeple of Dusty Dunes I fucking hate this steeple with all my heart. The gameplay is so boring to play through, you have these annoying turrets that literally fucking yeet you when you touch them, there’s fucking inconsistent spinning platforms on Floor 5 which may cause a lot of people to fall if they do not know what to do, and the steeple on the inside looks so unappealing as shit. Even SoAU is better than this pile of trash. Zone 2 - Tower of Great Displeasure Just look at it. JUST LOOK AT IT FUCKING LOOK AT IT. LOOK AT IT! LOOK AT THE FUCKING GAMEPLAY AND TELL ME HOW THE FUCK DID THIS PIECE OF SHIT GET INTO THE GAME. YOU SPEND 2 HOURS OF ANNOYING SPAMMED GAMEPLAY JUST TO GET FUCKED OVER BY A PUNISHING FINAL STRETCH. THEY NEED TO REVAMP THIS GARBAGE. Arcane Area - Steeple of Realm Odyssey This is easily the worst of the bunch. It looks like a fucking joke. Floor 2 is like only 10 seconds long, and Floor 5 will not look too odd if it was placed in a difficult tower, and of course, they had to add lore which I think no one gives a shit about. Zone 3 - Tower of Quirky Contraptions Surprising? Not for me. ToQC is so fucking bad when it comes it gameplay and enjoyability. That’s the only thing that fully dragged it down for me. There is a bunch of waiting simulators scattered across the tower, and Floor 7 takes like fucking 10 minutes to do. Then you have the final 3 floors which are big difficulty spikes compared to the rest. I fucking find ToIO much more enjoyable than this. Zone 4 - Citadel of Quadrilaterals It sucks that this citadel heavily relied on artificial difficulty for the peak rem placement because this citadel actually has potential, but nooooo N_4 had to make it HAHAHAHHA FUNNY SPEED CHANGERS JUMP CHANGERS GO SLOW BRRRRRRRRRR.

noice vid, but these are mine (based on how much rings, zones and sub-realms I unlocked) ring 1- Tower of Madness (you're a mad-lad if you like this, get it?) ring 2- Tower of Falling and Failing (for other ring 2 towers I did, I either liked them or didn't hate them as much as other people do i.e.: ToSD) ring 3- Tower of Despair (I swear to god I'm not referring to the miitopia one, also this TRIES to be creative and fails MISREBELY) ring 4- Tower of Linonophobia (I honestly don't, y' know, DISPISE this like others, but it's a bit boring and the rest of ring 4 is either a little bad or really good (I haven't done ToI yet my skill level is only rem rwsgkjhahrglikaeuhrg;la;gioh)) ring 5- Tower of Extraordinary Adventures (even after beating this I hate it, just like Eric (candyman) says, it takes every bad part of a tower and mashes it into 1 heaping pile of garbage) ring 6- Tower of Twisted Inquisition (look, I haven't tried that much ring 6 towers so don't judge me. anyways, this is the 1st tower on MY list that I have a personal grudge with, also it's SO BORING AND SPAMMY, and the last floor is a spike bc of those god forsaken spinners) ring 7- Tower of Extreme Hell (yes, yes I only done 2 rems but I did noclip run it up to floor 7 and dare I say, this is the worst rem in the game) zone 1- Tower of Atlantic Depths and Tower of Contractional Obligations (see Tower of Twisted Inquisition) zone 2- Tower of Dreams and Caverns (or should I say, the only BAD zone 2 tower, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH- anyways, I only played up to floor 4 bc of how bad it is, like seriously, I'm further on ToPF then this, the platforming itself is really just either spam or tightropes. nothing unique at all, and the song choice is just eh, and this is coming from someone who PLAYED adventure forward 2 up until world 5) zone 3- Tower of Dimensional Hopping (idk, just a bit boring and I like the rest of the zone more) zone 4- I honestly don't know (like seriously, I can't choose) forgotten ridge- Steeple of Pursuit (all the same reasons as you said) paradise atoll- I also don't know (I just haven't played ANY of the sub-realm aside from SoAU, which I actually like) arcane area- once again, I don't know (bc I only beat the intermediate and advanced section) please don't get mad at me for not knowing what to choose on zone 4, PA or AA

In some ways it's also my favourite tower of this event. However, the one thing that makes this stand out is it's what pushed me to get to remorseless skill (I was mid-high intense at the time) and started my terrible rem luck. What do you mean by rem luck, you may ask? Well you see, every remorseless I've ever grinded has had at least 1 major fail. In CoSR I died on the sideways section. In ToES I failed the final floor twice (and fell to floor 1). In ToTS I failed the final floor (but that was rebeating it for a challenge which I ended up not doing. I instead just beat ToQT. When I was grinding it, however, I failed floor 9 wayy too many times and I've lost track now). In ToFO, as I've mentioned before, I failed the final jump. In SoTP, I failed the final floor 2 or 3 (I can't remember) times. I failed floor 10 ToQT a bunch of times as well (I lost track), however I never failed the final outside as I perform better with stress, so that's nice. Yeah. I really hate this as you can tell from how detailed this description is. Christmas Event 2020: SoWS - I had to grind this and I don't like grinding towers lol April Fools 2021: ToRP - This was the only one I did nobody's probably gonna read the whole thing lol

My opinion on this video: R1. I only chose TT over ToM because ToM is fun to speedrun FR: agree R2. Imo the revamp is worse than the original. I liked the original and didn’t need a revamp. ToSD is still worse imo. R3. Agree. I’m glad I fluked from 5 R4. ToI exists. At least ToL is fun on floors 1-5. R5. I do agree that ToFO’s gameplay is not the best, but ToFF is WAY MORE annoying, and I’m having an atrocious experience with the tower. I do like the design though. R6. Agree R7. For me it’s between ToFL, ToCC, and ToEH. I chose ToEH due to consistency. ToFL is good on the last floors and ToCC floors 5 is decent. R8. Agree? R9. Agree Z1. Agree PA. Absolutely Disagree. I had an amazing experience with SoHS which probably explains why. Plus the storyline is extremely creative. This was my favorite AA steeple (Logan_ISL don’t kill me plz). SoDD would probably be my worst. Z2. Agree AA. I only chose SoWC because SoRO is fun to speedrun Z3. Agree Z4. my least favourites: (im bad so theres only 5) ring 1 - ToM floor 5 just looks like zero effort was put into that, they're also spread out in height inconsistently. floor 1 just looks hideous with the wraparound spam. and the last floors are baseline easy ring 2 - ToOH & ToBH tooh - the only good thing is the dance skip. very bottom heavy, last jump isn't that hard but just why tobh - the colours and the design of the whole tower is just ugly in my opinion. some of the jumps are annoying too zone 1 - ToHS no need for an explanation, its horrible forgotten ridge - SoP rip off citadel of peril & i dont want to go through its portal ever again garden of eeshöl - SoIF its great. i love the idea and the concept, just personally the floor with the blue lava (no clue what number) isn't executed too well

My thoughts: Ring 1: Tower of Madness Pretty self explanatory, floor 4 is already bad enough, until you see the next one which is just hopping left and right. Then when you think it’d better, the final 2 floors are just walking. Ring 2: ToFaF A really easy pick. This is just ToT but with a gbj on nearly every floor. Not to mention that the design is insanely ugly. Ring 3: Tower of Fatness Copy and paste Ring 4: Tower of Corrupted Nightmares Your average fauxyde tower, angling copy pasted jumps to make them look more special. Ring 5: Tower of Downward Mobility This might be quite unpopular, but the gbj doesn’t improve the tower last time I checked. Ring 6: Tower of A Depressing Future I just can’t get into this one. Floor 5 is a conveyer maze, floor 7 and 8 are outside and a spike, then floor 9 and 10 are annoying puzzles. Ring 7: Tower of Extreme Hell Easy pick. Insanely inconsistent gameplay and Co usage, then they decide to add a spike on floor 9. Not to mention that this is one of the ugliest towers in JToH. Ring 8: Tower of Vibrant Adventures Just really forgettable and bland. ToIII is a not so honourable mention, too. Its gameplay is honestly the most boring I’ve ever seen, but the ONLY reason i prefer it over ToVA is because its creative. Ring 9: Tower of Pastel Pillars This tower just really sucks, and impossible to remember. Zone 1: Tower of Contractual Obligations Ugly, inconsistent and flat out BAD. Floor 5 is creative but also the biggest spike. Zone 2: Tower of Slipping and Sliding What a surprise! Everybody loves ice, right? Zone 3: Tower of Menacing Creations Creativity prior, gameplay and design is nonexistent. ToIO isn’t that bad to me, and it is an older tower too. Zone 4: Tower of Mechanically Induced Mayhem Another creativity prior, but actually has design but worse gameplay! This opinion is definitely unpopular. Zone 5: Tower of Bright Serenity One word: MID. Zone 6: Tower of Astral Fusion Unpopular opinion, but it’s raw gameplay is NOT bottom remorseless. Just because of its safety nets, it’s a stupid reason to lower the difficulty. Somehow used to be easier than ToTS. Zone 7: Tower of Cylindrical Extensions More unpopular opinions here, and it’ll only get worse. It’s gameplay makes me wanna throw up, but yeah nobody agrees with this one, I guarantee that. Zone 8: Tower of Flame Restoration The name is so vague, and the gimmick is just FREAKING TEXTURED OUCH BRICKS ON 3 FLOORS. The classic and modern mix of this tower is just not it. Forgotten Ridge: Steeple of Huge Pain Janky gameplay, floor 3 is boring and useless. Floor 1 and 2 are filler easier gameplay, and HOW THE HELL WAS IT HIGH CHALLENGING? The exact opposite of challenging, and is really annoying to play. Garden of Eeshöl: Steeple of Flourishing Wastelands Bad gameplay in 1 - 3, and half the co's are not able to work. Lost River: Tower of Witchcraft and Wizardry Good idea, bad execution. The concept is cool, but the gameplay definitely isn’t. Silent Abyss: Steeple of Descendant Not a very popular opinion, but pretty unsightreadable. Paradise Atoll: Steeple of Hallucinatory Spectacles The gameplay is so bad that it’s funny. Sure, the creativity is pretty good and design wise is classic in a good way, but the gameplay is far from good. Arcane Area: Steeple of Realm Odyssey Floor 5 is very bottom hard with 8 stud wraps yeah totally. Pit of Misery: No Idea

i am aware and at peace with the fact that i’m about to get dunked on, but SoHS was actually my FAV level in paradise atoll. The music choice is a solid stream of 9’s and 10’s, the parts that were genuinely janky pre-nerf got fixed (with the exception of the lowroof spinner ye) and it was still moved up to challenging as it should’ve been. it also encapsulates the feeling of summer better than most if not all of PA, whereas most others are literally just ‘water theme’ or ‘cliff theme’ or etc. the whole progression and hysterical premise make for a fun steeple based on an otherwise normal day being interrupted by a spectacular hallucination which slowly gets more frantic as the hilarity intensifies. 9.5/10 steeple overall don’t @ me
