She has one of the most distinctive voices in Mariachi music. Raspy and beautiful. They are not married, but she is a big star in Mexico. She has lots of songs written by Gabriel. He was one of the biggest songwriters in Mexico. If you like mariachi, check out Pepe Aguilar for that smooth deeper sound ( another famous musical family -Aguilar's). This is what we grew up with and we couldn't clean up the house without our dad blasting it on Saturdays. Love it.

My parents/grandparents were truly lucky to be around when these artists came out. My generación grew up with his music and he was amazing and controversial for being himself ❤ I remember my grandma loved him and went to his concerts so excited and pumped he was an amazing writer performer and artist . He wrote so many hit songs for him and for many other artist . Fun fact he was basically the first in Mexico to come out as guy too !
