This is one of the songs that I would sing to myself and cry when my son was deployed to Afghanistan and to Iraq. Thank God he came home safe from his deployments.
Maricruz Valencia...you made me cry. I'm so happy he is home safe. I used to cry over a stupid guy with this song. He WASN'T worth it. But a son definately is!
Tell me why I’m crying after reading this post. Thanks to you and your son we have this beautiful yet at times crazy country. Please thank him for his service.
Santos 1111 This made me laugh. Im a 70s kid and even then, if you wake up to Mexican music, you’d better get ready to start cleaning. Last person up cleaned the bathroom. Now, my kids know Mexican music means a good dinner. I will NEVER clean to this music again.
Is funny. Because as a Puertorican every Saturday our mother always wake up all her children with merengue or salsa. Specially Olga Tañon, Mark Anthony, Manny Manuel and Elvis Crespo. And of course the smell of Fabuloso.
You know I've been watching your reactions for like two hours straight and I really appreciate when I find people that actually cares of what's watching, the art, the lyrics, the emotions and the details. Thank u for that. You have a new subscriber and greetings from Mexico ❤️
yrics of this song in english Moon, you who see her, tell her how much I love her. moon you who see it, tell him how much I miss him. Tonight I know who is... contemplating you just like me, through you I want to kiss her. What do you know about loneliness? advise him please To convince him to come back, I beg you..... Luna, what do you see? tell him how much I suffer Moon you tell him that come back because it's too much. What do you know where it is? caress him with my love Tell him that he is the one who I love the most What do you know where are you going illuminate it with your light... your path because maybe not good, not good maybe it's not good And tell him that... he... I love him... Author of this song: Juan Gabriel
Linda Rondstat was a popular pop rock singer in the 70-80s but she went back to her roots later and did a mariachi album to honor her dad and Mexican roots. You should check her out.
Love Ana Gabriel. She is one of my favorite artist since I was a child. Love all her songs and the way she interprets. She is amazing and has an amazing voice 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Well it's just a matter of finding the right vocabulary and it could be done. People who translate these songs to English, they do it too literal not finding the correct words. It takes time but it can be done!
I alway’s loved her voice. It has that raspy blues edge to it but at the same time she can turn it on and go operatic. A beautiful soulful voice she has
I was supposed to take my mom to see her this year since it's one of her favorite singers but this quarantine situation got us postponed....Definitely love Ana Gabriel🙏🏼❤ U joined the right community with all these legends u react to....Thanks!

Tú que sabes de soledad. At 3:27 is more of a statement to the moon. Like saying to the moon, "you know about loneliness" because the moon appears to be alone in the sky. "please guide him, convince him to come back. I'm begging you". Much love and respect. Ana Gabriel will be in Tijuana soon. Oh we going.
You took me way back! This song reminds me of my first love. There's a saying "there's no music like Mexican music" I agree, lol!! Thanks for the memories 👍🏼😊
Loved your reaction. Ana Gabriel is a beast, and I adore her. Her voice goes perfectly for those sad heartbreaking song, because her voice is very emotive, and at times it sounds as if she's crying. It's just the nature of her voice. That's why her songs usually deal with sadness, heartache, and loneliness. Loneliness or "soledad" is probably her most used word.
Fun true fact. I went to see Ana Gabriel in concert in LA at the Universal Amphitheater years ago and who was there sitting in the front row----Juan Gabriel! He was asked by Ana if he would take the stage and sing a song during her mariachi set He accepted and he sang Siempre Estoy Pensando en ti. Crowd went crazy. It was a special treat.
She is amazing. One of the most passionate artist that I had ever heard. Even as a kid when I used to listen her songs, I was like:, "why am I listening these heavy lyrics, I'm a happy kid" LOL
My friend, if you liked Ana Gabriel's smile and eyes, you should see her videos from the 80's and 90's ... For me, one of the most beautiful women in my country. Thank you for your interest in our culture, brother, greetings from Monterrey.

Welcome to Mexico and our culture and feelings, there is much more that the world should know about our country, more than undocumented and violence, in Mexico we have plenty of good things to show, and anyone who wants to know them, is fortunate. I like you!!! thanks for showing this to everyone !!
Ana Gabriel I always known her or nicknamed her the crying woman (: Because of her incrediable gift in her voice too sound like she's crying and in deep emotional pain (: Too me one of the true greats of epic legendary vocal performance (: Oh just in case the interpretation is off Luna means Moon (: Unless she is referring too somebody named Luna but I think it's the other way around Luna means Moon (: And she using the the Moon or Luna term in a brilliant way too convey and express her love and desperate need too be and see this love one which she lost or is lost her (: An amazing piece of great artistic song writing at its very best (: And like I she is one the greats of this Epic genra of music period (:
i know this song do to when i was little my mother will put all this music when she will do the stuff around the house, and i end up learning all this song. juan gabriel ana gabriel good memories
Ana tiene una sonrisa en el rostro pero por dentro se está rompiendo al pensar seguramente en su padre. Esa oración se convierte así en una plegaria al cielo "Luna"
This is one of my all time favorite songs. It has so much meaning and passion. Thank you for reacting to this and positive comments. ♥️ super glad you enjoyed it.
Man, there are many wonderful singers in Mexico, you still need to listen Pedro Infante Nocturnal is my favorite song, also Yuri singing Maldita Primavera, Victor Garcia singing Maldita Luna, Lucero and Carlos Rivera are also incredible singers
True, songs like reloj, el teléfono, noche no te vayas, la barca de oro from another of the greatest Mexican song writers Enrique cáceres a member of trio Los tres caballeros.

Your reactions are the best. 🙌 Ana Gabriel such a beautiful voice. You should also listen to LUCHA VILLA one of the most powerful female voices in mariachi music.
Every time I hear this song I get the feels! Goosebumps and my heart hurts. It’s such a well written song of expression. And Ana sings it like she’s crying for me!
