This is the first day that I had taken the Jubilee Line. The sound it makes when it departs is soo satisfying! But, its really noisy when it travels a bit fast through the tunnels..
I remember being in London in 2009 (I was ~5) and hearing this sound while travelling on the line. Hearing Wilbur Soot's song made me think of it, and I just had to check. Thank you for posting this video! I wonder why the Calgary C-Train motors don't make that noise, but it seems like so many other lines in the world do.
Nothing people like? But I do!? IT IS SO COOL AND FASCINATING! The way it pulls in the way it sounds! 10/10 bruh so good I LOVE UNDERGROUND TRAINS (ADDICTIVED)
@@dannywright6089the deep level tubes are usually fine, the sub surface lines (circle, district, Hammersmith, metro) are always fucked. That’s what happens when you share routes instead of having your own like the deep level ones
Me too, it's the Most Soothing sound from any known train on the London Tube ever known, I made a CD of that sound as an effective Relaxation Aid which really works.
Nowadays the Jubilee cuts off the final part of its deceleration. I assume to reduce wear or something, which is valid but is a little sad. I loved hearing the full orchestra.
The jubilee line train is like a Victoria line train hen it stops. But Victoria line stops at stations at 17 secs and the Victoria line trains stop at 16 secs and all the s stocks and slow underground trains are 25 secs btw the trains are circle and district lines, hammer smith and city, and metropolitan lines. Even do there not deep level.
the sound is so haunting but so satisfying at the same time. i always hang around on the platform to heat the sound it makes when it leaves (unless i have somewhere to be) and i feel uneasy but comforted. i always get chills
