Love the videos. I'm quite excited for the various aspect cards that have been revealed so far. Husk could be awesome in Spider-Woman - a fun new target for a Voltron-style deck. Spider-Woman's Finesses can give you two wild resources for Husk each turn (at the cost of boosting her own stats with events, of course), plus you'll have access to Honorary Avenger and the leadership attachments in addition to Mission Training and Game Time.
Hmmm "Husk". Love me some allies who come with a "heal self" option. 'Tis more efficient than replaying them. Means I can focus on something else in that deck space - not a 'First Aid'.
My favorites are disguise and generation x. Upgrades and supports tend to define new types of builds, and I love that part of Marvel Champions. Disguise is one of those and Im game. Generation X is "break glass in case of emergency". It makes lots of forgotten conditional events finally worth playing! Plus Im happy to see a third Justice side scheme, which confirms we will get another 2 side schemes for Protection and Leadership for a total of 16 - woot woot.
A lot of these cards are strategically good cards rather than efficient. Gen x especially is 1ER plus 3 threat to gain 1 card. Inefficient but strategically can allow you to get the key card to get out of trouble or to win the game. I think we will see more PSSs focusing on effects rather than builds (like take out the guards) rather than build options like build support or superhero training. Waylay looks good to me if you can do the 6 threat. I would like to see it in the Stryfe scenario and playing it with 4 different resources with Ms Marvel to get a crazy amount of threat removal.
Man, Ms. Marvel is gonna be so legit with a lot of these cards! Even Multitalented will be awesome with her suit and Sense of Justice (or Martial Prowess). Thank you for the analysis on these cards! Definitely makes me excited to bring Ms. Marvel back out for this! Also, I feel like Spider-Ham will go hog wild with a lot of these resource-based cards 😂 Do you know if Spider-Woman’s finesse can be used with Husk?
Ms. Marvel is back in fashion! Spider-Ham is a great shout for Three Leaps Ahead too, I hadn't considered that. Spider-Woman's Finesse 100% works with Husk since they work with Jarnbjorn and such things. You can generate resources for an aspect card and, unlike Machine Man, Husk is an aspect card 🥳 Now Spider-Woman does want to play new aspect cards every turn for the stat boosts, so I don't know if that's optimal, but it's a fun option for sure!
