The Rock, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, CM Punk, Daniel Brian, The Undertaker, Steve Austin, Sting. Chris Jericho has surpassed them all with his AEW run. Who would have guessed something like this 20 years ago when he was still held down by the likes of HHH and Nash?

@WrestleFan1993 I'm talking in terms of crowd reaction. Don't like the guy that much? That's fine. But you must have missed 2013/2014. Daniel Bryan was over like 99s Rocky. And don't get me talking about CM Punk when he still "existed" in pro wrestling. I recommend to you watching some videos about Triple H's "Reign of Terror" by the way. HHH is associated with a shovel for a reason. Also, he and the whole clique (Nash, Hall, Michaels) destroyed a lot of talent in the mid 90s with backstage politics. Everybody who had the stuff to become a main eventer was a target for them. And that attitude didn't change when they split up.

@WrestleFan1993 By that standard, I would cut The Rock from the list as well. His big run was very short as well. (3-4 years?) But I kinda doubt that you could talk about pro wrestling's greatest of all times without mentioning him. Guys "buried" by the kliq's influence on booking (before curtain call): Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart, British Bulldog, Vader, early The Rock, Adam Bomb, Bam Bam Bigelow. Even Bret Hart would have been a bigger star without their pull on booking decisions. After the curtain call Nash & Hall continued to undermine wrestlers more talented than them (on mic an in ring). Examples are Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit who later showed that they were undervalued in the low card. In WWE after the Curtain Call, HHH became the worst offender until he got distracted by NXT. But it blurs the line if it's Vince's fault or influenced by Trips: CM Punk (attempted burial on several occasions), Stings WWE debut botched, Zack Ryder's life-long punishment for getting himself over, RVD, Booker T (who would have been a main eventer without his debut burial), Daniel Bryan (attempted), Shaemus and of course Chris Jericho again. Yes, Jericho won the belt(s). But they just used him as transitional champion and botched his run.

@WrestleFan1993 You forgot about the human money printing machine John Cena. But that's besides the point. Michaels is reportedly responsible for making Vader look weak in their big matches by refusing to fight from underneath as babyface against a monster heel. Which is just sad. Imagine Hogan vs. Andre where Hogan starts off destroying Andre, allow some offence and than dominate the finish. After Bigelows huge match at Survivor Series he was ready to be a top babyface, but the Kliq put pressure on creative and Vince. In an interview, Bam Bam himself mentions that everyone was scared about The Kliq and he stepped up. Quote: "It's bad for morale". But it ended in the Kliq derailing Bigelow's push, because that's what they did to everyone who was about to become a main eventer. In those years, many wrestlers with high potential just quit. Because they didn't want to be part of that. And Davey Boy had the work rate and the looks. He was ready to get a push, but The Kliq influenced Vince to put a stop to that.

Wrestle fan 93 let's make one thing straight Jericho has many times done things for his companions Neville and Jeff Hardy for starts put himself last so to speak and been basically thrown out the main events just cause well ppl like Vince McMahon didnt see it fit him being a main event specialist so to say and many times he has given the fall to let them rise then turn around and he is actually a very good musician on the side and I bet he could of played a better tooth fairy than the rock I'm sure let alone been a much funnier San Andreas character let alone would of most likely put any other character first just to get them a break in the movie industry you have no clue the heart and soul this guy has to entertain you jus one laugh or smile he would break his neck Jus Sayin
