Absolutely adore this entire album. Loved it since the day it was released. Painkiller is a masterpiece but Julgulator is the priest record I go back to again and again. Such a shame that some narrow-minded Halford fans can't give this album the recognition it absolutely deserves.
As a +40 year fanatic of Priest I am Finally coming around to totally loving this song. Thank you Ripper for saving the band. Can't wait to see you in K K's Priest live.
Speak to me Of those days I won't forget Your worst dreams Has just returned, to pay you back I'm still laughing There's not much else I can do But one's thing's certain I'm coming back for you Have you got a gun Do you remember well Who you used it on It's time to burn in Hell Say my name I can hear you whisper Not to blame? You are going to blister Scream in the night I've been counting the days It's so amusing To see you again Have you got a gun Do you remember well Who d'ya use it on You're going to burn in Hell Die Why? Time to pay the price Kill I will Have my sacrifice Plead With fear I am getting near Friend Liar Time to eat some fire Have you got a gun Do you remember well Who d'ya use it on You're going to burn in Hell Burn in Hell I can hear you whisper Burn in Hell You are going to blister Have you got a gun Do you remember well Who d'ya use it on You're going to burn in Hell Burn in Hell I can hear you whisper Burn in Hell You are going to blister Snarl like a dog You'll scream like a banshee Stuck like a hog You're gonna love me Burn in Hell I can hear you whisper Burn in Hell You are going to blister Burn in Hell Screaming like a banshee Burn in Hell Burn
As a harcore priest fan i'd still prefer the halford albums if i had to decide, still i recognize how awesome the ripper albums are, one on one, machine man, metal Messiah and this track are so f"cking good
these album album are out of business before streaming is common and Judas Priest didn't bother to do something with it since this album not really profitable to them
are you not in the U.S? Demolition is on Spotify for me here As for Jugulator, it is sadly a lost cause because the record label that produced it went bankrupt. This is also why one of Rhapsody's albums isn't on spotify either, it was made by the same label
@@robertrhodes4655 They had a different singer for a number of years, but then Rob Halford returned to the band. Then they glossed over the fact Rob left at all and ignored the 2 x 90's albums. But I am surprised they are releasing it as part of a box set after all this ignoring the elephant in the room. Similar to Iron Maiden with Blaze.
@@rexrojoarts It is an issue with the record label, but it is more tragic. The record label went bankrupt and shut down. This is also why one of Rhapsody's albums isn't on Spotify, it was made by the same label
I could run up into a daycare and start slappin' kids listening to this shit, it's just so goddamn heavy! Haha. Great mastering work man, and those little subtle differences are so noticeable to fans like me who've played this album multiple times a week since it's release in '97 through present day. This was the perfect successor of "Painkiller", but it sadly gets no respect. The Metal Gods will always be my favorite, but their dismissal of this album along with "Demolition" following Halford's return truly pisses me off. Joey Belladonna doesn't mind singing those Anthrax tunes from the John Bush era and I find that commendable. Performing material off of "every album released up till this point" and skipping over those albums was a pretty shitty thing to do. Great work my friend. Perhaps a remastered "Machine Man" from the "Jugulator" follow-up could be in the works some day? 😁
Rocka Rolla - Rock/Proto-metal Sad Wings of Destiny-Point of Entry - Classic Metal Screaming for Vengeance & Defender of the Faith - Heavy Metal Turbo - Glam metal Ram It Down & Painkiller - Power/Speed Metal Jugulator - Doom Thrash Metal Demolition - Nu/Groove Metal Angel of Retributrion - Heavy Metal Nostradamus - Symphonic metal Reedemer of souls & Firepower - Power/Speed Metal
Unpopular opinion: ripper is better than halford. He sings better. His own material and robs. I love priest, I love halford, I love ripper. But live meltdown 98 proved who the better vocalist is.
@@THEDREAMASTER I liked the whole album! The intros from Jugulator, Blood Stained, Death Row, Cathedral Spires and Burn In Hell are absolutely gorgeous!
The 90s was such a dry spell for metal, even the greats stopped releasing real quality metal. All except for Judas Priest, who released their all-time greatest material and some of the best metal the world has ever heard.
Dry for mainstream Metal* There was plenty of great underground Metal released in the 90s. Also, the early 90s were still full with plenty of great Heavy and Thrash Metal, for example.
If you have a promo album or CD keep it it may be worth some money later I have a whole bunch of CDs their promos I used to work for Sony Music Corporation and I would get a lot of CDs that way but if you have a Judas Priest CD of that song hold on to it treated like gold don't damage it take care good luck
@@nategin9009 Just one of several reasons why this song isn't the band's finest work. It's obviously not up there with songs like LIVING AFTER MIDNIGHT.
