So cool that they are performing their ultimate power rock n soul ballad on their 50th-anniversary tour! Rob's vocals and Richie's lead are incredible!!
Yes, he's also great, but I think that, at least at the moment, Richie plays the majority of guitar solos on stage. But Andy Sneap was definitely the right choice for the tour!
This is one song of priests that I never heard Tim Ripper perform. In fact it's one of their only classics he hasn't. I wonder why Ripper never performed this, either with priest or as a cover on his own? Now I'm curious and bout to go did for the credits to see if maybe it's a copyright reason like maybe Rob wrote that song and therefore priest didn't have permission to perform that song with anyone else.y first thought was maybe Tim just couldn't get out a good performance of it, but that's hard to imagine given some of the other songs he's performed that aren't easy at all by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe there's something personal about that song and band members that they just didn't feel right performing it without Rob? I don't know but this is one of their only popular songs that Tim never did in his time with priest. At least I've never heard it. If anyone else has I'd like to hear it. I'm a huge fan of Tim and his time with priest. Rob is obviously the king of metal vocals but I think Tim did a great job as well. Not as good as Rob but good nonetheless. I'm mostly into rap myself but there are a few hard rock bands from the 70s 80s and 90s that I love listening to like priest, iron maiden and Sabbath.
I fully agree. Unfortunately Glenn wasn't able to come to play for us in June, but I'm glad he has been attending so many other gigs later on and he has been looking pretty strong on stage, considering his condition. I think I read somewhere that Glenn has been already writing songs for the next album. I suppose everybody's watched the No Surrender -music video? It's my new favourite JP -video, so positive and uplifting!
Glenn will be a part of Judas Priest for as long as he can. That said I dont think JP would still exists if Richie didnt join JP back in 2011. JP sounds better today than they did 10 years ago.
@@reetta1779 No ihan yees sekin! 🙂👍
