HUGE voice! Knock down buildings huge! I just love what Tim did while trying to fill the biggest vocal shoes in all of metal. He has a tremendous and insanely strong voice! He is grossly underrated and under appreciated! In fact I think he did many of the classic Priest songs with more power and consistency! Just a monster singer!
for sure, but the bands ego rob, glenn and ian want to forget this era of the band even exists, ritchie said he is open to playing these songs live in an interview though
Ripper is awesome, great singer and showman. Everything he has recorded is pure and honest metal ; iced earth, far beyond fear, dio disciples, judas, solo project......really fucking great.
This song is what Judas Priest is about, great vocals and awesome musicianship...very, very underrated was the The Ripper era...now if Judas Priest would be more consistent in putting out albums maybe every 2 or 3 years instead of the long waits for slabs of metal, that is how you lose interest in a band...Judas Priest is my favourite band of all time and I have their discography, Priest rules...if Priest would of stayed true to themselves and kept Tim they would of put out at least 8 albums and not be the Judas Priest that is slowly fading away today...at least we have KK's Priest...
just saw Ripper saturday night in mooresville north carolina....he played with the local tribute band UNLEASHED....also saw him on jugulator tour in charlotte
and i loved jugulator....didnt realy know this song....opened with electric eye ,then burn in hell.but then did dio and maiden covers...then the singer for the tribute band came out...he is good and only bout 20 years old...check out the facebook page....UNLEASHED....thats how RIPPER got the gig to start with in PRIEST
@@jonmallek7746 My liking Tim does not detract from Rob, whom I HAVE seen. Rob's THE voice of Heavy Faulkin' Metal! Halford never sang Tim's songs w/ Priest, live. Though he may on the 50th anniversary tour. Got my tickets.
What a masterpiece!!!! I am your darkest hour I am your fall from power I am the voice you dread and I'm Screaming out inside your head I am the final count I am your demons out I am the worst demise I'm gonna cut your big words down to size What is this? I hear you shout Face to face I'm gonna take you out One on one, bring it on One on one, take me on I am the awful truth I am the fearless youth I am the cross to bear And the one who dares to return your stare I am the fist of God I am the underdog I'll always stand my ground While the others scatter all around Against all odds Despite it all I'm at my best when I'm against the wall One on one, bring it on One on one, take me on I am the bloodstained past at last That's finally caught up with you like The glint of steel from out of the dark the last Thing you will feel - I'm outgunned, I'm out Run, I'm undead and then I found the skin You shed I am the questions asked That send the shivers down your back So I am holding out And I'm much stronger now So take me on One on one, bring it on One on one, take me on I am the darkest night I am the viper's strike I'll see you all consumed As you start to lick your mortal wounds Like the condemned man Who just won't die I'll show no remorse I'll never walk away One on one, bring it on One on one, take me on
god, ripper is a great singer, he kept the band afloat with the older songs, and jugulator and demolition was not his fault, he didn't wright the songs.
I'm a bit late to the party and only just discovered the Ripper albums, and I am loving this track... but I just can't stop seeing Star Lord on the vocals 🤦😆
He called the album a CD instead of an album. Granted, there weren't many, if any, actual vinyl records released by many bands during this time, but still.
Mate bring it anyhow you got. With a training partner its ONE ON ONE! Ive been fortunate to have been with the most mentally bruising challenging gym partners ehich is difficult to find team minded oproaches to a session that is as much as you give you receive. This mentality much more rare than you think. Silence is for sucking it up then its blasting puttons in your mates set with stratygic employment of balanced critique and form precision with gatting through with a combo of principled intensifiers. Set by set 101.
Its hard to admit but this old ROCKER says: This stuff is'nt too bad ! Great guitars, precussion on time and this singer sounds good but must tone it down a bit or is this the raging youth of today ??? I guess I was there too ! Peace fellow rockers !!!
