This song is my anthem. I have instructed my wife that when I die, she is to play this song in a loop at my service, since she insists she wants to have one for me.
Metal is a way of life, and nobody can take that away from us. Metal isn't a trend like every other piece of shit music out there today, metal is a brotherhood and a way of life. Metal is in our blood. And just like the lyric in this song "I can never get enough." Damn right. Metal heads never can get enough. I listen to metal all day everyday. Metal forever! Been a metal head since I was eight years old and will be until the day I die.
@@gaelbgalbar9307 Actually Maiden is more creative and more crafty. But Priest? Priest is direct, more in your face and straight to your heart! Both are legends ofcourse
When Hendrix, Page, Clapton, Keith Richards,Van Halen, etc... are mentioned, so should Glenn Tipton and Kenneth Downing please be mentioned also...JUST SAYING :D
Hendrix was god. No one could reach his creativity, he changed rock face. Van Halen was really incredible too with tapping, etc. Clapton had the touch, Richards had the riffs. Tipton had got the heavy metal.
They very rarely play this song. Therefore I'm glad I got to see it done live on this tour and that it's immortalized on this show which was recorded and released on DVD.
Man, this song...can’t believe I used to overlook it even though Ram It Down is one of my favourite Priest albums (yes, it is deal with it lol). Now it’s one of my go-to songs when I need to listen to some Judas Priest! And this live version is amazing, even heavier and Rob’s singing after the solo...so much passion!
It's amazing how the lyrics gain more meaning as the years go by. This version is sung with a lot of passion and you can easily notice it. After 40 years and counting of rocking us all around the world, this song summarizes the lifestyle of a full-time rocker. Thanks JP for being such an inspiration.
NOBODY IS MORE OF A ROCKA THAN MR. ROB HALFORD. HE IS MY LOVE OF MY LATE TEENS AND EARLY 20'S. YOU MUST LISTEN TO PRIEST. THE MOST VERSTAILE HEAVY METAL BAND EVER.
Great performance. I'd like to have seen Hard as Iron (especially with Scott Travis on drums -- how awesome would that sound?) but this isn't a bad choice...then again, Judas Priest could play just about anything and make it sound timeless and incredible.
@BlackSabbath1776 well said my friend and for those who dont understand We are doing fine without you. I have held the flag of metal proudly since I was 2 years old and I will continue to do so until the day I leave this world. \m/ Im a rocker and no one can take that away!
Judas Priest is in the HOF! That's what they deserve for believing that Priest is all evil! You are talking about the most influential heavy metal band ever. You don't know how many people they saved from commint suicide. Long Live Priest and Halford!
awesomely done, i just wish they'd play more from ram it down live, but then, with such a vast back catalogue.... is it time to drop the likes of breaking the law and living after midnight in the live set. good songs, but we've all heard and seen them live. just a thought.
