Well, free is free I guess. Nevertheless, I think everyone is doing his best, however transcribing a song on the electric guitar is not something everyone can do. It needs a certain skill set. And a good ear. 🙂
Hello everyone! This is the updated tutorial for Judas Priest The Hellion / Electric Eye. This tutorial covers all three guitars of the Hellion. As for the solo, Glenn's playing is a bit messy on the studio version, so it's difficult to deliver 100% accuracy. I tried to make the TAB as much comprehensive as I could. Sorry for uploading twice, youtube did not like my audio mix on the first one so I had to remove it and mix it again... 🙄 I hope you like it. Cheers!
@@perpetualbystander4516 for example bars 124-125, right hand and left hand are not synchronized. He just slides his LH on some random frets and strums with the RH. Bars 112-113, not playing accurately etc. So, it's diffucult - impossible actually - to have an 100% accurate transcription on this solo.
@@perpetualbystander4516 of course he did. It's a matter of playing style, many guitarists use this technique. What I say is, it cannot be written on a TAB accurately.
Thank you for your comment! I think you refer to bar 30, the D5 chord. My video shows what they played on the original recording. However, on the live shows they play a D4 chord (5th fret strings 4 & 5), which is what Richie shows. And it sounds way better than the original version of the riff. Cheers!!
Μπράβο φίλε μου. Πολύ καλή εκτέλεση, καθαρός ήχος κ.ο.κ ! Συνέχισε έτσι. Μια παραγγελιά να σου δώσω.... Judas Priest - Between The Hammer And The Anvil.
Thank you for the great performance and tab. However, there is one thing that is disappointing. The BPM of the song is not written down, so I cannot practice with the metronome on. So if you could tell me the Bpm I would be very grateful!
You're absolutely right. That's why I have started displaying bpm on my last videos. On this one, The Hellion is at 100bpm (bars 1-20) and the Electric Eye (bar 21 - end) is at 185 bpm.
