I love J Trump! Watching him play I can see elements of all my favourite players - the power, precision and swagger of Higgins; the precision, gameplay and confidence of O'Sullivan; the power and amazing screws of Lee; but with his own qualities of focus and determination thrown in as well. Looking forward to watching him for many years to come.
I used to watch the snooker years ago. I appreciated what Davis and Hendry did to the game but always got a twitch of excitement to see what the unpredictable Higgins and White would present to the viewers. Then, along came Ronnie and he delivered a new chapter but I found his attitude towards his gift somewhat odd and I drifted away and probably haven't been interested in the game for the last decade or more. Then, I started watching some snooker compilation videos and saw the amazing talent of Judd Trump and just the same as Thierry Henry brought me back to match of the day, Judd Trump is going to bring me back to snooker. What he does with the cueball is nothing short of breathtaking. I salute you young man!
I don't like compilations that re-use the same handful of shots over and over again so I was glad to finally find a video with shots I've never seen before alongside the usual shots we see in these types of videos
I'm 44 years of age and watching snooker and loving it since I'm about 8. Bit only other player I've seen that can play some these shots was the great Alex Higgins but even Alex would be amazed with some of Judds shots. Really is a special talent.
on 2:58 u can see that his mind and thinking is insane ... judd is on point, no matter what, u think u snooker him or play save, he'll proof you wrong most of the time. so impressiv to watch, love it, nice edit on the video
@baselinebaz why do you say high "right"? Whenever there is a major hook in draw or top spin, then its more of a vertical axis delivery than any side, or else it may in fact be possible to hook and miss the pink completely toward the short side.... which I doubt. But anyway, I don't think its a high right execution, just pure vertical high, but a perfect vertical trajectory in which the stroke speed is faster than the cb speed at launch point, because it's hit so perfectly high that if you saw it in slow motion the cue ball would be sitting there spinning like a wheel doing a burnout before actually going forward. If I write then if you think about it the cue ball is top spinning in a diagonal fashion and that isn't helping the case of hooking forward. You can't get a cue ball to do two things at once.
4:22 I expect that the frame was conceded due to the scores because it would have been interesting to see what would have happened next considering this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y1sDiLapr0g.html
