Judge Boyd Does Not Care What Your MOMMY Thinks! 

I think his mommy is making all kinds of excuses for her son. He’s not the good little boy his mommy thinks he is.

Attorney: "...time to get his affairs in order... Judge: "Ahhhhh....No." 😂😂😂

"He'd like some time to get his affairs in order". Judge: "Ah, no". Brutal! And appropriate.

Judge Boyd knows just the right questions to ask. ‘Why did you commit this crime?’ might sound like a nothing question but it’s extremely important. His answer, straight away he blamed the ex wife.

Maybe YOU should raise your children better, Mom. Sounds like they're not doing great. Not their grandparents job!

He had his rehearsed statement "I'll do whatever you want" but when she denied the motion and sentenced him to serve time boy did his face change. About time some of these thieves went to prison.

His mum is better than, me. I wouldn’t stand there and speak in court for a grown child who won’t stop getting in trouble!

So he wasn’t a five star employee and his character witnesses are his mommy and the boss that fired him . DUH!

My mother would have gotten up on the stand, looked out to the victims and said, "I'm ashamed. Don't show him any favor. He made this choice against my better teachings. While he's good around family, he obviously needs a lesson in other areas. So Judge, feel free to sentence him what he's due." Especially with this dude's record. Sure, he's changed now; he's scared of prison now. He should have been before making poor choices. ESPECIALLY WITH A WEAPON.

If I was the victim i wouldn't want money I would want to see you in prison.

All of my kid’s Christmas presents and other things were stolen from my house, years ago when I was a divorced single mother struggling financially. I felt VERY violated.

Let me translate what the mom was saying: It’s his wife’s fault! Absolutely not.

I love it when a repeat offender claims the reason for the crime(s) is, “oops I made a mistake.” Then I know that Judge Boyd is going to clearly explain the difference between a mistake & a choice. Glad she sent him back to jail!

I love judge Boyd, she’s sees right through the BS. I was burglarized and not home, thank God. But I gotta tell you, I had to sell that house and get out of the area. I felt extremely unsafe. The burglars left my home in shambles. I’m sure my fur baby was terrified. He was injured. They never caught who broke in. It’s a VERY unsettling feeling. 😡

One son screws up and gets himself shot. Mum spends all her time with this son for a year whilst the youngest son seems to become more and more lost. Now that son is in trouble.

I don't think he realises or cares about the devastating impact theft has on victims!

That defense attorney is giddy and laughing like he's a school girl on recess. And my judge messed up her mistake/choice story a bit. She got it back together in the end.

I agree with the sentence because he had two prior vehicle stealing offences as well as a couple of other arrests and didn't do well on probation! If something else happens in his life is he going to go and do it again because he was having a rough time? This might make him think twice about stealing or breaking into a place in the future!

One time my car was burglarized- I’d just cashed my paycheck and it was taken. It was INCREDIBLY distressing. Violating. Disrupting for my life. I’ll never forget it and it happened over a decade ago.

A weapon can be anything really. If you are a boxer your fists are weapons. I can throw my TV at you and that TV was a weapon.

He is NOT taking responsibility! He just blamed his wife, and their relationship. Has he paid back the person he stole from? All he has to do is send it through the mail. What will prove that he has changed, is to actually do it.

Something significant was needed since he confessed the only reason he was willing to change was the likelihood of a stiff sentence as opposed to a slap on the wrist, not because he realized the error of his ways.

So he said it, he never faced prison before so this time will be different. You are not a good person if facing prison is the only reason you won’t be a danger to the community.

Now that prison is on the table, I will be sorry and remorseful.

He said he didn't think he would be caught. Looking at his face during sentencing you could tell he was shocked he was getting jail time and surprised it was 5 years. He's a felon & repeat offender. I think he's very lucky she didn't give him 6 years.

5 years is fair I think. I'd hope parole follows after jail to be sure he actually has a job. Judge Boyd is a fair, clear minded Judge.

It was quite a performance by Mr Hernandez and his mommy. He has an “Edgar” haircut that’s been parted and combed to the side but they should have made him shave off the beard that goes with the Edgar. He’s got a very shrewd attorney that mommy payed a lot of $ for.

Can someone let me know what it means when the Judge says "since I agree to your conditions " I do not understand that because she did not go along with what they asked, She went on her own decision...Which she did the absolute right thing!! I love and respect Judge Boyd ❤I know I should understand what she said but....I really don't get it 🤭 Thank you.

Very thankful, the only time I had to go to court with my son is when he got a speeding ticket. He had to take an online course, pay the ticket and the judge asked me a few questions. He asked me what repercussions he received at home, I said tighter curfew for 2 months and he was riding the school bus for the next month. The judge laughed and joked i was being hard on him, and i said yes sir so you won't see him here again.

All this shows is that he will take things as far as he can before being sent to prison. Just like when parents count to 3 before a punishment. That child will keep doing wrong until mom says 3!
