Judge dismisses charge against Alec Baldwin in 'Rust' case

I lived in New Mexico for 34 years. I never could figure out whether it’s incompetence or corruption that produces outcomes like this.

I'm very happy that they dismissed the trials. I think that those people need to take responsibility for their actions. They were in charge of all the ammunition and they need to take responsibility for not checking the gun 3 or 5 times and for not doing their job. Also the district attorney did not do a very good job with all the evidence. Evidence needed to be percented from the very beginning. It's shameful when they want to put a man in trials that he had nothing to do with this. I'm very happy with this judge for dismissing this trial...

One thing the DA has secured, nobody will ever film there in New Mexico again

that judge needs to get fired. so does the da. i wonder how much he paid the judge and the da to get off.

That decision was made long before this trial.
