Reminds me a little of the awful boyfriend I had at 19... I would pay for his gas to come see me, pay every time we went out for food etc, all sorts of stuff. Dude was an unmotivated underemployed (part-time seasonal work) redneck. I'd love to expunge him from my dating history. Here's an update on this winner: Sylvester Trevon Tuggles, Jr., 21, of Spokane, Washington, was sentenced in U.S. District Court to 70 months in federal prison for attempted robbery, U.S. Attorney Bart M. Davis announced today. Chief U.S. District Judge David C. Nye also ordered Tuggles to serve three years of supervised release following his prison sentence. Tuggles pleaded guilty to the charge on August 19, 2020. According to court records, on January 8, 2019, Tuggles and Isaiah James Harrington, 20, also of Spokane, followed a man from Spokane Valley, Washington to the Coeur d’Alene Indian Reservation, in Idaho, to rob him. When the man exited his car, Tuggles and Harrington approached, pointed a firearm, and demanded money. Before they could take the man’s money, Tuggles and Harrington fled when they observed people coming to help from a nearby residence. Earlier this year, Harrington was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release for his role in the attempted robbery. McKenna Marie Buss, 22, of Bellingham, Washington, was sentenced to five years of probation and nine months of home confinement for aiding the attempted robbery by driving Tuggles and Harrington.

He's, like, disgustingly proud of the fact that he took advantage of her. What a piece of trash. He wasn't just the getaway driver. He and Robert picked a target together, Robert did the actual snatch as the passenger, and they were probably going to split whatever they found in the wallet, but they didn't expect to be pursued. He pled to a lower charge as the "getaway driver" for less time in jail, which is annoying as fuck, because people like that goblin deserve to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Why do you think other people have to work for what they have and you can just take it. I know one thing, he's going to try steal from the wrong person one day.
Easily. I would have changed my number the first time the mom called me. Your son is a criminal, don't bail him out, leave him there so he can actually learn his lesson. Trust me I know. My dad used to get DUIs so much he kept bail money ready at all times. Never learned his lesson because of that
That plaintiff should consider herself very lucky that the judge went easy on her and awarded her what the car was worth. Otherwise, she could've easily denied the plaintiff her claim knowing that she bailed the defendant out of prison despite that he was driving the getaway car during the robbery.
It may also be that it was raised as she admits she forgot the court date and didn't turn up. In the UK this doesn't happen as everything is electronic, if the police stop you they check themselves if you're insured as you could have a certificate but the cover could have ended because you didn't pay. So much easier to have it electronically. Back in the 90s I remember people used to get what was called a producer. You had 7 days to go to your local police station with your license, car registration, and insurance documents. Then if you didn't do that I assume things escalated into a fine. They can also check the owner of the vehicle and the current state of your license. As police drive around their cars read the number plates and alert them if the vehicle has no insurance, then it is up to the driver to prove it has because if they only set it up say 24 hours earlier it may not have gone onto the system yet. Our police don't play anymore, if you have no insurance they take the vehicle and you have so many days to pay the fines and get insurance to retrieve it before your car becomes a cube. They literally leave people with their personal belongings from the car on the pavement!

Sometime Judge Judy makes me sick! I’m a Judge Judy fan but that doesn’t mean she’s exempt from being called out on getting it WRONGGG a lot!!! Why is she crucify this kid?! She’s a young girl that’s like 19 or 20 that made a bad judgment when it comes to relationships. You tell me what 20 year-old haven’t made a bad judgment when it comes to relationships. JJ acts like this is a 30 or 40 year old woman. And by listening to her it sounds like she had to pick the lesser of two evils. She helped him so she can get her car back. Who wouldn’t do that? Especially if they wanted their car that is badly needed.

The defendant is shifty and shady and not trustworthy. His charm might fool a few young girls along the way, but it will all catch up to him because he will always be a freeloader. I think she gave him permission to use the car, but didn't know he was taking it out of the state. The car had 144,000 miles on it when she bought it so it doesn't seem like a car you would take on long distance trips.
He said she gave him full permission to have her car, Did he really think she was giving permission to use it as a getaway vehicle in commission of a crime?
