The judge overseeing the civil fraud case against former President Donald Trump and the Trump Organization has issued his long-awaited ruling. Judge Arthur Engoron handed down his judgment in a 92-page decision on Friday, ordering them to pay over $350 million in penalties.

If any other person would commit fraud and devalue his property to get away from paying taxes they would throw him in jail. Another thing if he says Mar A Lago is worth a billion than he should pay taxes on a billion. Same goes for insurance.

This isn't about tax fraud. The Palm Beach Tax Assessor valued Mar-a-lago and Trump paid the taxes accordingly. Do you call it fraud when you offer as much/little $$ as possible when you buy/sell say a car or house and wheel and deal until you meet in the middle? That's what this case is arguing. If you people didn't hate the guy so much you'd be more sensible.

Just like Supreme Court Justice's were previous Bench Justice's that were hand picked to serve. You don't go to university and come out being a judge. Have to work your way up to it, if you even are picked, to serve as a judge.

Victim? Was a civil case. Also, the fraudulent act doesn't require a victim for the malefactor to commit a criminal act. Just breaking the law, any listed statutory crime ennumerated under the legal codes, State and Federal, is a criminal deed. A business, for eg. is considered a legal entity for the purposes of law. If a business were rejected financial lending consideration, because another, unrelated party took up the otherwise existent financial space which a bank (or other lender) set aside for its business lending portfolio. . there would be a corresponding vacuum in the slice of its portfolio that otherwise would be available. Allow this state of affairs to become the common practice and business confidence drops, and only the whales are eating from the trough. Verstandt?

New York real estate has gone up 100 fold in the last 40 years. Buildings that Trump got for $1 million dollars are now worth $100 million. He lied to get those loans. So really he got billions of dollars illegally and then all the things he was able to invest that money in made money. Meanwhile honest businessmen we're not able to get their loans because they told the truth on their applications. He broke New York law. We are a nation of laws.

sorry I know you'd like to believe oj jesus is not a crook, but Republicans, Democrats and Independent citizens are who indicted him for these crimes, they only do that if there's enough evidence presented so that the Grand Jurors decided the person is likely guilty of the charges so then THEY voted to charge him with fraud, defrauding a lot of banks all over the country really. He is the one who was caught red handed defrauding everyone he did business with, while he also used fraud to claim and file SiX bankruptcies in NY, which the citizens then had to bail out the banks that he did not pay back for loans he took out.He then lied to pay no income tax on the actual income he took in, he said he made less, that isnot legal. People lose their homes for crime such as he does, he is not special.

did it ever occur to you that no grand jury would've indicted him without good evidence? Randomly picked citizens from all political ideologies indicted him, different grand jury members, in 4 different states & counting, because the evidence was so overwhelming, obvious & undeniable. People have been put to death on far less evidence of their guilt than Trump has given prosecutors. We citizens are not going to indict another citizen without good proof he is guilty, because it costs a ton to defend against charges and we, none of us want to be charged with a crime if we are innocent of it, right? Maybe go really read the indictments and see what's behind the circus that they keep going......make sure you know all you can know before you decide what is true.

When you request a loan using your Property as a Collateral is the bank responsibility to conduct/request the appraisal. An appraisal determines the home's value to ensure that the price reflects the home's condition, age, location, and features. Tax Assessment Value and Market Value Assessment are 2 complete different things , one is for Tax Purposes and the other one for Market Value. How can the AG use “NY Executive law section 63 (12)”?
