Good lord I’m so glad I retired from the RCMP before this. Having served 24 years and seeing various governments and dumb RCMP policies I was confident that a 5 year old would have known that this was unconstitutional. The fact the Judge said that it was illegal means nothing when there are no consequences from these actions. Almost 2 years after it was invoked, the courts rule that the invocation of the emergencies act was illegal. A lot of good that does us now. Glad they did the right thing but the courts were sadly absent during the "pandemic", when our civil rights were being trampled on.
