My fd has been waiting for therapy authorization for 5 months after her last authorization ran out. In the last 5 months her bio mother verbally attacked her during a visit, her parents' rights were terminated and she found out her biological brothers(that are placed elsewhere) are moving to another state. She REALLY needed therapy during this time and didn't have it. Thankfully we finally got the authorization yesterday and her first appt is next Tuesday. This was a complete failure on the part of CPS that should have never happened. To your point about the parents' are put before the kids... THEY ARE! Legally the case is against the parents not the children. So if CPS isn't doing their job, it could be grounds for bad parents to get their kids back. Sadly, the kid(s) play second fiddle. Last fall my fd had 11 appts a week. She was so stressed out and her behavior was escalating due to it. But CPS wouldn't stop one of the programs because they needed to show that they offered the bio mother enough services.. at the expense of my girl's mental health. It was terrible and I fought tooth and nail for her but to no avail. Why? Because THE KIDS DON'T MATTER!
Some govt workers do care, and they do try. But the system itself is set up to control people and damage children. It's no coincidence that people on positions of power are constantly associated with and accused of child crimes. There is an emerging story from the border of govt agencies trafficking immigrant children who have come across for a chance at a better life. I haven't person been able to get any concrete info on the story but it lines up with historical facts. Franklin scandal alone should have overhauled the whole messed up system. I hope you are one of the good foster families, it certainly sounds like you are! I've learned not to completely trust anyone at this point though, foster system has a horrendous track record both workers and parents. I hope you are able to facilitate growth for your foster daughter and that whatever happens would be the best.option. whether that's no further contact with bio or a mended relationship. Good for you doing wht you're doing assuming you're a good person 😂

Well, then mom probably shouldn’t have let him back in the house. They got them out, she let him back. The thing mom is in the most danger of now is losing her kids, because of her poor judgment. She got an out and she didn’t take it. I understand these women who are afraid to leave, to a degree, but this woman was free and clear, and she chose to go back to it. Whatever happens to her is a self-inflicted wound at this point. The only innocent victims now are those kids . If anything happens to them, she is also to blame.
Another father shocked by the court order against him. It would be laughable if it wasn't so sad. It appears to be the repeat of domestic violence cycle against a family. It is so sad that the children are the ones who suffer. It is heartbreaking. 😊
I can feel a new case on this in the future asking for the children to be removed or have already been removed and it in court for parents to work services
Children are waiting so long for therapy because insurance won’t pay for it, and providers just don’t exist. The few who do exist aren’t always good providers. It’s a massive struggle. We’d have less parents in these systems if we addressed them as children.

Not sure the size of foster family’s property is absolutely necessary as long as he’s being cared for I was impressed by all the professionals in intial hearing they were desperately trying to be sympathetic by not asking questions they let defendants behaviour speak for itself
@@AuntCathyPooh I understand that but not sure when you know mothers got housing issues she needed to say it’s got 12 acres and home is very spacious if aunt got him thank god but I just felt the comment unnecessary a simple he’s with aunt housing suitable and safe but it wasn’t serious just not needed
All the medications she listed were antidepressants. They wouldn't want her to be taking them all at once. I do agree that she may have some paranoia, but the maintenance guy stuff could be just another of her excuses to put on the pile.
Some of them are antidepressants, some of them are anti-psychotics. Something tells me that mom has a little bit of bipolar, paranoid schizophrenia. I find it hard to believe that her therapist was making her “hate her skin color”, it sounds to me like she’s the one that has a problem with her skin color. Her therapist AND her job discriminated against her? Come on now shug, nobody likes a professional victim.
