Judges 4-5 - Skip Heitzig 

Thank you Pastor Skip. However there are some of us who simply do not have a church to attend locally that preaches the full counsel of God. We recently left a church we had been attending for a couple of years as we could no longer stand the replacement theology stance of the pastor! We live in the UK and live fairly rural so it is difficult to find a church where we can get Bible teaching which lines up with Scripture. Another church we attended, one of the elders did not believe the Biblical account of Creation! How on earth can we attend such places? We stay at home and do at least one study a day and listen to sermons/teachings from Amir Tsifati, Jack Hibbs, JD Farage. Jan Markell, Barry Stagmore etc etc. You have NO IDEA how blessed you are to have such a choice of churches in America! The UK is not what it once was!

Golda Meir was born in Kyiv in 1898. Skip saying she was born in "Russia" and moving on with his example of great female leaders (comparable to Devorah) around the 9:30 mark is problematic. Someone tell Skip the overwhelming majority from Kyiv despise their city being associated with Russia - even when it was ruled by the Russian "Empire." It is easy to see why in the current environment but was also the case when Meir's family left. Many fled because of instability and the coming horrors directed from Moscow. Kyiv has a history distinctly Ukrainian and it is a grave mistake to treat Kyiv as "Russia," without context. Ukrainians generally take great inspiration from Meir's words and have named a street after her since the invasion.

Regarding prophetess Sometimes when teaching - think we need to pump the brakes. Noticed you said - during the 40!year wandering Passover was only celebrated three times. Yes, that is what was recorded, does not mean that it was not observed other 37 years. Do you really think Moses forgot? Same with prophetesses - you read off the ones recorded in OT and NT doesn’t mean there were not others not recorded. 5

Thanks Pastor Skip - it’s fascinating and encouraging to see God working “behind the scenes” as Israel goes through these “sin cycles”. I think this country is in the midst of its own sin cycle but it’s reassuring to know that God still sits on His throne and His sovereignty still rules over all! (Psalm 103:19). God using rain to stop Sisera’s army of chariots reminds me of the brutal Russian winter that stopped the Nazi invasion of Russia in 1942 and marked the beginning of Hitler’s downfall. In that case also, Hitler’s tanks and vehicles got mired down in mud and snow! His power is limitless…

FYI - the definition of a "gal" is a girl or young woman. I believe the Bible is referring to Deborah as a full grown adult woman. I wasn't aware that the Bible also refers to her as "Debbie."

The Bible doesn’t refer to women as “gals” or Deborah as “Debbie”. Gal is a slang word referring to a woman. Debbie is also a slang for Deborah. FULL STOP. The word says to add nothing to or take away from the word of God. Trying to be cute with the word is NOT acceptable to God!
