This was the most raw performance in the history of the show. No backup singers, no band, no elaborate sets...just Judith, her amazing voice and the piano. Damn shame people held it against her that she toured with MJ.
Well they were haters and jealous! I dont see one single of those winners or even judges touring with and singing with legends like MJ and of course Prince. The level shes on? Every one of the winners of this contest look like bugs as far above them as she is. I think she wanted to go on the Voice to he able to sing. She could of cared less if she won or not. Watch her blind audition. Usher knew EXACTLY who she was 2 notes into the song. And everyone knew who she was.
I could listen to her all day. She has the genuine silky voice that is unmatched. And then when she wants to, she effortlessly gets down and gritty. MJ and Prince knew great talent when they heard it. The Voice is a joke when compared to her. Hands damn down!
Somethings in life I seriously do not get. Love watching Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson play basketball because not only did they have skills, they had intelligence, awareness and an understanding of the game far above everyone else. Plus an unsurpassed work ethic. Judith Hill did not just happen. Hours and hours of hard work have gone into those few minutes on stage she shares with us. She is far above all the rest.
Oh, yeah. Beautiful composition paired with Beautiful, simple performance. This kind of music puts me back to holding my mother's hand when it could fix absolutely anything.
Better than anyone in the panel and better than 90% of Hollywood singers won't even get close to this talent. She is pure gold and diamonds! Shame she didn't win! Cheaters!!!
I was totally shocked when i heard this lady sing in some highlights today...how did i not know her ?? I basically love watching soul singers... also many people use pitch control in these shows but clearly she does not.
Judith is hugely talented and a seasoned performer and she has was backup singer to Michael Jackson for This is It and many others and has been out there doing the work and sharing her amazing voice and her multi-instrument skills. I hope “The Voice” helped to elevate her because she certainly deserves it. Love her and her music!
it was a crime when she got voted off the show..... u just have to blame people that thought that "hey she sang with michael, let give someone else a break" c'mon man she was the best thing that season
This is so good, I still don't understand why she didn't win. I remember I was so pissed when she got eliminated and I stopped watching the stupid show since then...
Here I am, Johnny come lately; don't like those shows so I don't watch them AT ALL! The downfall to that is that you miss hearing/seeing new talent in its purest form! She is sensational! I will be looking her up from this day forward!!
Damn it dude, that's RAW talent.. she is so gifted...If you people notice, most of 'winners' in this show' came from the country genre... at this point it is okay, because people vote for them, but its really annoying having different people doing rhe same thing for years..they dont give space to RnB or different kinds of artists... Ill tell you what, She was supoosed to win this shit, and at least Usher knew it from the very moment he saw HER performing as a frontsinger in MJ funeral.. for some reason they picked her. It is okaiy with Danielle bradberry but what is she doing now? in the meantime, in 2021 Hill is releasing a bunch of good material...she was the winner and then sasha allen, and in the following seasons unfortunately happened the same... I watch it until the playoffs... i just dont wanna get stressed
Judith Hill is a gold winner all the way around, I stopped watching the Voice because of the outcome of her performances, Blake and Adam along with the other coaches knew that she should have taken the trophy home.
She should’ve won her season, but we know The Voice never actually picks the most talented in the competition. It’s a popularity contest and it has always been.
Yeah so I'm not sure of the rules and regulations on who can be on The Voice, but she's professional singer and has been for over 20 years. She was Michael Jackson's primary vocalist on his "This Is It" tour. I thought this show was for amateurs.
Daniel Carpentieri she was not a primary vocalist--she sang a duet and back up. She had not signed with a record company at the point she was on the Voice, so she was not a star, giving her an opportunity like all the others. She has since won a grammy and signed with Sony--also toured with John Legend, and an endless list of amazing singers. She is an absolute master.
It's never been for amateurs. Every season has had singers who have been in the trenches for years and just need a platform. I think you're thinking of Idol.
