Sorry for taking so long to make this video, due to technical issues had to remake it twice. Hopefully the wait was worth it and you enjoyed it. Not sure when/if the next video will come out, but feel free to write down any criticisms or remarks about how I could improve the quality of the videos. Due to format of the video I could not put every smaller, more delicate detail into the video, so if you have any questions about Judo side of the video, let me know and I will try to answer it, or maybe make a Q&A video with the answers. Thank you for watching!
Brilliant analysis! It's a small thing but I love the text timer at the bottom of the screen! It tells you exactly how long you have to read the text so you're not rushing to read it before it disappears. Simple but so helpful!!!
I was even more crushed during Maruyama’s interview as he was crying.....all that hard work, he’s my favorite judoka by far, can’t wait to see him in Hungary.
Professorial detailed examination of the elements of grappling & anchoring, with outstanding structural insights that illustrate the complexity of multiple forms and the simplicity of weight distribution - huge applause 👏
By far, the best judo video I ever seen... Stay up with this hardwork man. I think that an analisys of Liparteliani´s Uchi Mata Should be a great idea for a video!
A crucial element is also how uke has his vision blocked from seeing that rear leg go back for getting that elastic to leap in. Because Maruyama can keep their head isolated and has insane mobility he uses his body like a pendulum going from his head underneath. They don't know they're thrown until it's too late.
woooooooooo, so happy to see that !!! i've been waiting for so long mate ! And tonight we can finally return on the mat , what a day for judo! Cheers from France your channels are amazing !
Are you unable to do anymore technique reviews? Those videos were fantastic and extremely helpful for me as someone just starting out, primarily the osoto gari review, since that is one of first throws learned. Just curious if you will be doing any more in the future? That aside, these breakdowns are awesome! Keep it up!
Thanks man, the views on these videos are very low, so I don't know if I'll continue with these videos, for now I'm on a hiatus, but who knows maybe one day I'll come back with some more videos.
@@decodingjudo-grapplerkingd5486 Hi, it's me again. Please give some love to this channel! I still come back to it when I need a little help with my throws. Great stuff as usual!
Oikomi Uchimata and mawarikomi Uchimata are the Uchimatas were you can generate the most power. One is a basically a sprint Uchimata and the other a centrifugal Uchimata.
@@decodingjudo-grapplerkingd5486 The problem i have with tobikomi Uchimata is that you not only need to get the timing with your opponent righ you also need to get the timing with power transver. The real technique needs to start after you have jumped. If you do it while you are in the air you lack grounding.also you need a strong Gluteus medicus to stabilize the movement.
I'll be making some more analysis videos, but they will be on my main channel. Here is a breakdown I posted few weeks ago: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-liX05PjroiE.html
