From the radio program 'Good News of 1938' from April 21 of that year. This is a catchy tune that the sixteen year old Judy has lots of fun with. Rather than raw emotion, Judy laughs and winks her eye at the trials of young love.
Wonderful! The legendary adorable, very pretty, very intelligent and extremely talented singer, actress, comedian, dancer, entertainer and performer Judy Garland is in a class by herself. Thank you very much for posting and sharing this wonderful recording and the fantastic photographs of a very healthy and happy Judy Garland!
I think this song was introduced (and recorded) by Bing Crosby in one of his movies in the 1930s. This is a wonderful find hearing Judy Garland have fun with the song. Fantastic...thank you so much for sharing this!!!
I have always considered myself an ardent fan of Judy Garland's. But this is the first time that I hear this number. Thank you for your splendid work to keep uploading the countless numbers of hers. And let me use this occasion to express my thanks to your nice reply to my comment I had left for the clip of "Send My Baby Back To Me". This number is of course truly amazing. Judy was an angel who was born to heal us with her peerless sweet voice. Another form of my thanks to you.
Thanks, for another one of your, brilliant and expressive montages, capturing the essence of this unique and joyous genius. As to the release of more of Judy's early radio songs to the public, like this one, why is it taking so long? I've looked into it and got dead ends. People are sitting on rare recordings like this one, when the public and fans should have access. Any of you got any information?
