REMASTERED IN HD! Official Music Video for Love’s Been A Little Bit Hard On Me performed by Juice Newton. #LovesBeenALittleBitHardOnMe #JuiceNewton #Remastered
If anyone says that they are idiots. People did it long before her. Hell, Shania Twain or even earlier singers. That's just off the top of my head. Taylor Swift can't take credit for doing anything for the music industry. Except for making it worse.
Many hisotrians point ot Lynn Anderson's "Rose Garden" as the first major pop crossover from country, which launched the "Countrypolitan" genre of the 70's.
Thanks to the Casey Kasem 1982 throwback yesterday for reminding me of this awesome song! I love this video too! All of the sundown I’m 13 years old again ❤️😉
. I've always loved Juice Newton's music. So much so that I nicknamed one of my best female friends Juice (her name was Joyce....and she didn't always like the nickname).
Along with this great song and talent and Juice's awesome Hildebrandt Star Wars tee can we give some mad respect to the stuntman/woman/mannequin or whatever taking that backward fall off the sand dune in the wheelchair...🤕😵💫..
I've got nothing to be ashamed of Love's been a little bit hard on me If I shy away it's only because Love's been a little bit hard on me Oh, love's been a little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) (Love's been a little) You know just been a little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) Now, I can remember when it's been so much Love's been a little bit hard on me Now I shy away at the slightest touch Love's been a little bit hard on me Oh, you know it's been a little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) (Love's been a little) Just a little, little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) Come out, come out To the hopeless romance inside Shout it's all right, it's all right To stay so dark, so close to the light Come out, come out To the hopeless romance inside Shout it's all right, it's all right To stay so dark, so close to the light I'll be back when I calm my fears Love's been a little bit hard on me And I'll see you around in a thousand years Love's been a little bit hard on me You know it's just been a little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) Oh, love you know it's just been a little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) 🖤🖤
Somebody needs to redo this video with a zombie as Juice since she dosnt seem to feel pain to begin with. She will lose limbs instead of breaking them and is only a head at the end.
Pops woulda been 75, today. Crazy how that shit can sneak up on ya...EVEN WHEN YA KNOW IT'S COMING! NEVER PREPARED FOR HOW I WILL RESPOND. Just been in/out of past/present all day..trying to grab a moment. Juice was definitely on the A Side of the soundtrack of my youth
Reminds me a lot of the cartoon vibe, that Twisted Sister leaned into for the We're Not Gonna Take It video. If it wasn't the same director, it feels like they must have gone to the same school.
@@cricketlee5937 Did THE Robert Smith name a child eponymously? Was that him??? Am I mixing up titles of Cure songs and U2 songs???? Is the The Sweetest Thing you referenced not even by U2, the Cure, and the Robert Smith coincidence just that, fumbucking coincidence?????
This woman has got such a wonderful sense of humor! She should have done more acting roles she was really good in this video and queen of hearts and Angel of the morning (which was sad). She can act!
And I am really not sure what it is, now that I have the tech to play music outside my house while I am doing yard work and can just cue up a good playlist and I think of songs I like...I end up putting her songs on it by thinking of the song and then being surprised that it is Juice. Why I, or maybe people as a whole, attributed her songs to other people or just didn't retain her name with her performances is the question.
Back in the 80s when there was great music and singers male and female who could sing a great song that you could understand the words to, everything today is filth music TV movies sports you name it
"Love's Been A Little Bit Hard On Me" I've got nothing to be ashamed of (Love's been a little bit hard on me) If I shy away it's only because (Love's been a little bit hard on me) (Love's been a little) Oh love's been a little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) (Love's been a little) Ya know it's just been a little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) I can't remember when it meant so much (Love's been a little bit hard on me) Now I shy away from the slightest touch (Love's been a little bit hard on me) (Love's been a little) Oh love's been a little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) (Love's been a little) Just a little, little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) Well, come out, come out From that hopeless romance in side Child, it's all right, it's all right To stay so dark, so close to the light Well come out, well come out From that hopeless romance in side Child, it's all right, it's all right To stay so dark, so close to the light I'll be back when I calm my fears (Love's been a little bit hard on me) Then I'll see you 'round in a thousand years (Love's been a little bit hard on me) (Love's been a little) Oh love's been a little (Love's been a little bit hard on me) Oh, love ya know it's just been a little (Love's been a little bit hard) It's hard on me
I saw Juice in the early '70's at a State Fair in CA. She was the opening act for Rick Nelson. Her group was AWESOME ! They sang, just snapping their fingers - EVERYONE was up on their feet & dancing on that football field! What a WONDERFUL experience !
I lost my big sister in 2001, due too an automobile accident. She loved Juice Newton, listened to her all the time when we were growing up. Hearing Juice's songs remind me of her & brings back great memories.
+ForeverFightOn4USC Noone believes the coincidence that you only remember a 15 year old trauma right after Juice Newton songs are featured in a successful movie. If your comment was 14 years old, then I'm sorry for your loss. As it stands, you are full of shit Also, why is your identity tied to a College sports team? Grow up.
+ForeverFightOn4USC Lost my brother to cancer when he was at the age of 30. And there are songs he always liked that triggers the same thing. it's hard to lose a sibling or anyone really close to you when they pass on before their time. And my brother and I used to hit the bars and were good friends with a lot in common. So I understand well!
No is not...she did put humor in the song...to show that in love there is such a thing as pain...and yes...she described that pain as best she could...figuratively...no one in the right mind will do something like that to the loved one...but she showed that for love she is pain...it goes well with a verse in the Bible... *Love suffers all* ...Peace and see the good side of things
I love these style of videos from the 80's when the video tracked with the song and the artist could make fun of it or throw some humorous storyline that made it memorable. It could be done with taste and not with women wanting to be noticed by wearing butt floss and shaking their ass at a camera.
now singers need to pretend they're not just normal people so they'll look important, they have to look like demi-gods, a good paint job can sell a crummy car, the emperor needs clothes to tell you he's the emperor, a talent-less hack needs pyrotechnics, choreography, expensive costumes, and cleavage etc., they have to shake their glittery butts like fishing lures to make you think they're not artificial bait
Juice and Swift are similar in appearance and are similar in terms of pushing their music beyond the boundaries of country music. Juice was a bit ahead of her time. #underated
Is there ANYONE who doesn't love this video?! I met Juice outside in her tour bus after a concert, so nice and autographed my album. I'm a Female Impersonator and I performed as her (Queen of Hearts) in a pageant once. GONNA PLAY HER GREATEST HITS NOW!
Born in 77 and was able to expierence some of the 80s and loved it. Aunt took me to an arcade in the late 80s and the sights, sound and smell of the food can be remembered all these decades later. Just wish I was about 5 years older to go through the 80s as a teen. The music, movies, tv, fashion, lack of technology and just the overall happiness of people was amazing.
@@frednugent2310 Thank you. I have had alot of nostalgia for quite a long time. It became even more so once my mother passed away in 2020. Theres times a great song or video comes on my playlist I skip because of too much emotions. Never thought I would have those. Thought I had iron skin.
Yes! I never made the connection myself, but yes, they could be sisters! Btw, of the two women on WKRP in Cincinnati, Jan was more attractive, at least to me . . .
I worked out these lead guitars back when this was a hit, playing both the melody AND the harmony. Years later, I realized there were about six guitar overdubs to achieve all that melody and all of that harmony. Hardest song I have ever played leads on ...
The 1980s was a serious time for guitar and guitar players....Players in general were really dedicated to being great on the instrument it seemed. And yes, double tracking lead guitar solos was a thing. Also,..Harmonizing the octave was another popularity.
Oh may God is this video funny !!! I have never seen it before. Love this song, it just says it all. I have never had any luck in love. I can never get the girl I want or love. I settle for what I can get, if I can get any woman at all. When I do get a wife or a girlfriend, it turns into a disaster !!! lyre's, cheaters, players, users, fruit loops, whack jobs, nut cases, Diggers! A wife's boyfriend tried to shoot me. A drunk. A girlfriend dumped me on Christmas Eve. See Dating Suck's, at hayloft dreamer. Love, has been a little bit hard on me !!!! And then some. This is one of the best songs ever !!!! Thanks Juice Newton.
MrCzechers Dear Mrczechers, Thanks for your response. I have over forty years of note books and no outlet for the songs and story's. The right band could have the biggest c.d. in years recording some of my songs. Check out my songs on U. tube, there are fourteen. Also Dating Suck's! and story's from the out house, on hayloft dreamer . com . { type as one word. } If I wrote a book no one would believe me. Thanks, Gary.
In the late 19 70's and 1980's in Nigeria, Juice Newton was very popular among many Urban folks and Radio DJ living in the Southern part of Nigeria; especially in he South Western part.
I was just about to comment this. I listened to this song EVERYDAY when I was growing up. It was also on the radio too. Never knew the lyrics, but goodness, all her misfortunes were the best part of my growing up. I just couldn't stop laughing whenever I watched it. lol Kinda funny watching it now as an adult and understanding the lyrics. :) Glad I wasn't the only (Nigerian) one who enjoyed her. My time was in the late 80s and early 90s though. Classics never die.
I also grew up listening to this song in Nigeria. I saw the video but didn't quite understand it back then. I just saw the video and the song now makes a whole lot of sense.
