Good video Brad. I found a bella juicer in the trash, I hope to repair it and give it away. The light on the high, low, off switch glows, but no high or low speed working. Looked for a hidden safety switch but could not find one. When I open it, and if the capacitor looks good how to test it with a meter etc.? Thank you, and all the best.
Ours had a burnt plastic smell and the motor "stopped working" It turned out that one of the pieces that rotates somehow made contact with the fixed piece causing friction to melt the two together. Once I pried them apart( carefully), and scrapped off the burnt plastic bits so it could rotate freely, it worked fine. I'm sure the motor stopped as some kind fail safe once the resistance get too high.
