My audition for Juilliard is this Thursday and my Curtis audition is next Tuesday. Your videos are really helpful to understand the audition process and I'm hoping for the best lol. But thanks for uploading these!
This is awesome! I'm getting ready to send my pre-screening any day now so this helped me get an idea of what to expect if I get invited for a live audition. And hey, one of my pre-screening songs was Sure On This Shining Night :) so happy to hear you made it in!
I decided to attend another music school instead...It's called the Curtis institute of music. ---- I do sing other types of music. Besides opera, I mostly sing gospel but I've done a bit of R&B too.
hello! i was wondering what voice types they are looking for? like i am a jazz singer and I don't know if that is good enough. I'm also a junior now and i was wondering when i was able to apply?
For Juilliard, they have a vocal arts division but it is classical based..There you'll learn classical techniques and everything you can think of..If you can sing opera, you can sing anything so it'll help you with jazz a lot.
I would love to know more about your life at Juilliard! Planning to take a voice major at the conservatory in my country (which in itself is not easy already) and maybe one day Juilliard? Haha. Keep up the work! It's people like you that allow others to dream and be inspired haha
Im sorry I never said this but I didn't pick Juilliard lol I decided to attend the Curtis Institute of Music. I'm so sorry that I can't give you that kind of information...
Hello! That's very helpful. Thanks ;) I will be 17 on September, so I have two years to choose college. I have question, can you tell me by listening my video, do I have any chance to get into Juilliard in two years?
hey Aaron I'm really inspired by your story and I have a few questions. Do you have to know how to ready music before attending juilliard ? and do they ask you to do scales or do you just sing the songs of your choice?
I think it would be great to already know how to read music but I do not know if it's a strict requirement. && no they do not ask you to sing scales and stuff.
Hey Aaron! It would be really nice if you could answer, do you know anything about the kind of audition they do for international students who are planning to apply to Juilliard? I entered college in 2016 and I will be graduating in 2020, I really want to continue learning music in Juilliard. Hope that you're having a good day!
