That is what I was thinking, but last year I didn't have near as many, and they were twice the size..... so maybe because they were pollinated so late, or there were so many. Who knows.
@@flackfruit Nice trees, congrats! btw, i agree with Xionghuang it is likely Honey jar. Actually not a bad thing since HJ is the cultivar that is often out of stock, being superior to sugar cane. Not sure where you are at, but here in vegas, sugar cane tends to have a bitter off-taste when ripened in 115F weather. Sugar cane fruits are more ovoid in shape, while HJ's are typically roundish, even when fruits are larger.
A neighbour gave me a mason jar with jujube fruit , what she did was roast them in the oven . I forgot the jar in my pantry for a couple of months ,they didn't go bad
