Arguably the most popular Fulmars on RU-vid, an egg of a fulmar couple (named by the AfarTV community as Fiona and Finn), hatched today and the first views of the newly born baby fulmar were captured on camera. The new baby Fulmar has been given the name Lola by viewers. Happy Birthday Lola!

This year I had 3 goats and 3 sheep that gave birth for the first time ever. Their instinct and clear love for their offspring is a wonder to behold. Particularly true as both breeds are "heritage" breeds (primitive, not exhaustively bred for specific traits) So strange to see how these animals who have no guide to tell them what's happening, can nevertheless function at a high level as effective, competent, loving parents.
