There is underground rainwater drainage system with openings on side on roads....also most of drainage water is re-used after cleaning it.

I think I have eaten plantains a lot! In North Eastern India and West Bengal we eat this a lot. We treat this as a regular vegetable and make a curry out of it. Sometimes we make a very light curry exclusively for summer season when spices don't go well with our body systems. Plantains are low in sugar and starchier.
