Sometimes a game isn't good, or bad, or flawed but amazing, or anything like that. Sometimes a game is exactly what it needs to be.

the game started and my first thought was "this looks like my childhood house. the house i grew up in in hungary. we had that same duster the vibe is spot on" AND THEN SAW THE HUNGARIAN MAGAZINE. i did not know the game was hungarian and i just want to say the devs got it exactly correct

I really hope this game doesn’t focus too much in the survival aspect when it gets closer to being finished. I really just want it to focus on just the calming driving and finding stuff aspect. Just, hundreds of random structures and encounters, and hours of driving through an infinite desert.

Rewatching this now I actually feel like the core conceit of "open-world roguelike/lite where you find car parts to improve your car and supplies to keep going on your way to a destination" is like... pretty strong? There's a beauty to the jank, but I kind of also want to see that idea done *well*.

i actually live on the road in my van part time and this was oddly therapeutic to watch lol. there's something very hypnotizing about driving, especially in the desert. it's really nice. the feeling of "just wanting to be in a car driving anywhere" that jacob talks about is everything. it's the best feeling.

Oh I remember this stream. And I remember that Caravan Man they raided in the end turned out to be a great guy who's been raiding the Secret Sleepover Society stream a few times.

I keep coming back to this stream, the amount of joy Julia gets from this game-- and the amount of joy Jacob gets from Julia enjoying it-- is some easy free dopamine

I was listening to the stream while playing a game, and my game froze and crashed right at 1:16:52, and I just hear Jacob say "Uh oh".

Really can't wait for them to play this again, there's so much more stuff now it's terrifying! I would love to see their reactions to the random desert men that try get you and say just the creepiest things!

The UFO encounter in this game is genuinely creepy and it has no business being such. It freaks me out just watching people experience it, and it's funny because I haven't played a horror game that was actually scary to me in a very long time. But for whatever reason, the long drive just decided to have a weirdly well made horror encounter that manages to creep me out. Not that I'm hard to creep out... I haven't PLAYED a horror game that's scared me in a long time, but if I played horrors more often that would probably be different. Still, it means that one encounter is scarier than many horror games out there.

Quick Realization. There is a drink at 23:18 called Lónyál. The name literally means Horse (= ló) saliva (=nyál), it a saying when you don't know what u r drinkin'. The flag is the Hungarian flag (the red, white, and green lines behind the horse). . . . I know it is an older video but I think that this is still interesting.

I hate how Julia had the nice white car door in her hand, moused over the spot to mount it, didn't notice the 'mount' command pop up, and then never went over it again. And then Jacob had the audacity to suggest that it didnt work.

This stream was something. No pun intended but it felt like if you were on a destinationless dealers choice road trip, or in other words, long drive
