There is no question in my mind that Julia has one of the best voices in this season's competition, as well as the fact that she is one of the best singers, technically. It always feels SO good to listen to her sing.
The challenge for her lies in the visual presentation of her song, the performance- or stage craft. This is obviously an area that she has been working hard on over the past months, and I think it is showing!

No lie… she inspired me to find her on RU-vid after seeing her audition. She moved me so much… i had to tell her… so I did. I was really worried for her because I worried not enough people would see how amazing she is.

Loved the commentary. Thank you! Yes, prefer her powerful , powerhouse sound to her performance. IMO, (for most folks) I DO NOT think stage presence can be "taught ".One definitely can grow in it/learn , BUT true performers are born with that ability. I say that as a former high note soprano ,which I lost because of infections. That shared, performing was a personal fav because I LOVED the joy of engaging... others!!! It wasn't about being a front-man Absolutely wowed with her vocals. I agree with style choice-dress matching song .THAT is easily fixed. She was born with the gift of song. Deserves to move forward because of it. So glad your fixed your block!!!

Oh yes, that's exactly what I thought too: her outfit, her looks and stage presence were not matching the song and that is disturbing for the audience, I feel. It is for me, at least, it's a kind of dissonance. She is def. one of my favorites, though, in terms of vocals, it just seems that she's in the middle of her journey towards rediscovering who she really is, after so much trauma, and reaccessing the self-confidence to be who she is and express herself powerfully and freely. The fact that she's walking that path, in itself, is commendable!

I can’t believe she was not picked to continue on…. I’m done watching. She’s better than the rest in my opinion. We don't need another Taylor swift ..💔🎶my heart is broken and I am all done with this show
