Julia Hartley-Brewer has clashed with the Transport Secretary over a promise he made in January to join her “on the barricades to get our freedoms back” once the over 70s had been vaccinated.
Speaking on her talkRADIO breakfast show, Julia asked Grant Shapps MP when he would fulfil his promise: “I want my civil liberties back that are mine by right. Your government has stolen them from me and 67 million other people, and you promised you would be on the barricades with me and everyone else if we didn’t get our freedoms back once the vaccine was rolled out. That was not true was it?”
